2000 450es speedo gone out

Like everyone else the speedo on my 2000 450es is unreadable..  A few folks on another forum say the 37200-HN0-771 meter will work fine, except the 4wd light stays on. Anyone here try that?

Hi and welcome to the forum

I can repair your old meter if you want to go that route

I have not tried to put a newer 450 meter on an older 450 but I do know that on the newer models

the meters have an extra pigtail wire on the meter harness that is for 5th gear(?) that has no where to plug in to for the

old harness and also the newer models have the speed sensor in the front differential instead of on the rear of the motor

I could check into it if you want more specific details

I will send contact information to your message box if you would like to look into a repair as well

I'd like AKATV fix your meter.  Will be cheaper, correct, and work like new when he's done with it.
