2001 Foreman 450 ES hits rev limiter at half throttle

I have a 2001 Honda Foreman trx450es runs great rebuilt the carburetor factory carburetor still cuts out on me like it's hitting the rev limiter replace it with the aftermarket carburetor does the same thing had somebody look at the factory carburetor put it back on it but it hits a rev limiter about half throttle, fires up just fine but is there an issue with my CDI box?
