jeepwm69 7,233 Posted July 19 Welcome aboard. So you have power to the solenoid signal wire and main fuse with the key off, and you lose power to them when you turn the key on? Is the ignition switch stock or aftermarket?
ATC4ever 1,014 Posted July 20 Sounds like either a connection is bad somewhere, or a fuse blown. You need to trace the wiring from the switch, or start at the solenoid if you like. Obvious Q - is the batt is hooked up correct right? There are manuals with wiring diagrams on here.
jeepwm69 7,233 Posted July 20 So when you turn key on, you no longer have power at the main fuse?
talon 1 Posted July 22 Battery is hooked up correctly and all the terminals and grounds are cleaned and, yes I lose power to the main fuse also, but that is the only fuse I get power to. And it is all brand new fuses.
jeepwm69 7,233 Posted July 22 Let’s start at the beginning. Did this machine run for you or did you buy it like this? Any signs of chewed up or cut wiring either from a previous owner or rodents?
