TBRider   1,411 Posted June 18, 2020 Can the starter brushes be changed on this model or do we need a new starter....  Neighbors bike clicks when you hit the starter button, but when I bumped the starter with a soft end of the hammer it fired up, looks like a nice job to change out the starter.....🥵
jeepwm69 Â Â 7,783 Posted June 19, 2020 Brushes are cheap and easy to swap in.
TBRider   1,411 Posted July 15, 2020 Parts finally arrived and did the job this morning, took us about an hr and a half but we were in no rush and put it back together about 4 or 5 times....lol  It's a fairly straightforward to change brushes in this bike, sad part is I think if we took the starter apart and cleaned it it would have been fine, the copper part of the armature was dirty and it was full of dust.....
