Fishfiles 20,147 Posted July 7, 2020 Looks to me like it was caused by chain damage. Once you get by this case problem. You need to stay on top of chain adjustments. If the chain is run loose it will slap around and rub the case. They make something called a case protector. Not sure if they make one for a 200 sx or not. I think I would sand/ grind it clean and see what’s under that mess. MinuteMend can do wonders. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Dnolley024 19 Posted July 7, 2020 Yes sir. I ordered new chain and sprockets today as well. I have the case at the machine shop now. They have done good work for me in the past. Hopefully they come through again. Also, thanks for the invite to the other forum, seems like a lot more traffic over there, and people actually respond. I really appreciate it.
