Yes, I ohmed both sensors at the pcm gray connector first then at the sensors. They all read a little over 3 kohms
-
Yes, they both read a little over 3 kilo ohms
-
Well crap, my bad, the pcm was unplugged when I checked them. I am getting 5V on both of them
-
I tried and it would turn over but not start. I'm not getting close to 5V on the ECT or IAT. you think the pcm could be bad?
-
I sure don't. Il see about buying a peak voltage tester.
-
Thank you. No it's not showing any codes. The only light is the neutral light and its steady, no flashing. I'll check the ECT and see what I can do about a peak voltage tester
-
I put a jumper in the 2 pin iat connector and put the lead on the jumper and it reads 0.008V. I then went to step 3 and it reads 2.9 kilo ohms
-
Question. On step #2, when it says add the jumper, do I test the jumper itself for voltage?
-
I just realized you gave me the page in the manual. I'm looking now
-
Are these the IAT and ECT sensors? Beside the spark plug and on front side of air filter box
-
Hey melatv. I never got the notification from your reply. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up. That's a different diagram than I'm looking at. I'll test it closer to the sensor
-
Can someone please explain to me how the two wires from the IAT are G/O (B2) and Gr/Bu (B20) on the gray pcm connector. I'm not seeing it on my model wiring diagram. It looks to me like the G/O tie in to P/Bu and go to the middle pcm connector. I did find what melatv asked me to check but it is confusing me
-
All 3 green wires read 0.3 ohms
-
The ECT reads 3.23 ohms
-
Never mind, I found the wires you mentioned. The IAT reads 3.13 kilo ohms. I'm gonna check the others now
-
Melatv, quick question. On the IAT wires, according to the wiring diagram the G/O wire turns into a P/BU that goes to the middle PCM connector. Is that correct?
-
Retro, I appreciate it
-
I'll check them out. Thank you

I cleaned the connector and was able to get 230 ohms at the pcm connector and it still wouldn't start up. So, I went ahead and straight wired it together to see if it would change anything and still nothing. Needless to say, I'm aggravated as @%#$ now. I'm just about over it lol
-
That's what I got to thinking once you were asking me. I'll try to clean the pins and see if I can get a better connection. If not I'll wire them in straight lol. I appreciate the help
-
Sorry, I know that's ghetto. I didnt want to skin any more wires back lol. I do have the wires long enough and are sure they are bottomed out in the connector
-
It does read 0.00 ohms. But I do have little wires stuck inside the connector because the meter leads won't fit. You think that would affect the reading?
-
Yes that is correct. I will check again just to verify
