  1. So after a few days of riding I am super happy with the build. It pulls like a freight train through anything and has plenty of power still as well as being more stable. Next item up for resto is the 1987 TRX 350D Foreman. Can anyone tell me what the major differences are between the 86 350 and the 87 foreman?
  2. Mostly done rode for the first time today and super happy with it. The tires ride very well. Just needs a wash and gonna take the rack and the black metal cover pieces like the exhaust guard, drive shaft cover and the racks etc for a sand and paint.
  3. YES! They are Kenda Executioner's 25-10-12 on ITP Delta's.
  4. Here they are mounted
  5. Here she is with the tires and wheels mounted
  6. Weird. It's like rubbery and sticky? Should I replace it? What should I replace it with?
  7. Update! I got the shifter shaft out and the return spring post was indeed the culprit. It broke off some how and I had to use an easy out to get it out. I ordered a new one and am just waiting for it to come in. I have a question also on the brake cylinders when I got them off and apart there seems to be some white stuff in them (see pics) is that right? What is that stuff?
  8. I think it is the spring because it is not returning after a shift. I have the drive shaft out and will be working on the cover tomorrow. I have a spring for it already just in case just hope the rod isint bent.
  9. They do run pretty true to size. Mine are 25-10-12. I don't have any good pics yet you can see one in the lower right of this pic though. I will take some better ones for you tomorrow.
  10. Anyone ever take a shifter rod out of a 350a? I have a sticky shifter and am working on it now. Do you have to take both crank case covers off, or just the shifter side?
  11. Just bought a set for my 86 Fourtrax 350. Haven't ridden them yet cause I'm still restoring it but they look bad !!
  12. Dude thats awesome. Thank you! That thing is mine! Lol
  13. Lol I don't doubt it but the shoes are shot and they are frozen in the "stop" position lol.
  14. Ran into an issue today. Frozen brakes. I ordered the parts but it's gonna hold me up a few days. Going to start on the shifter on Monday. Have a great weekend everyone.
  15. In that pic the metal filter was sitting in a bucket of gasoline getting a much needed bath. Lol
  16. Evicted the mice in the trunk and air box today got her all washed and emptied the fuel tank. As you can see the gas was really bad! Put new gas in and the new battery and she fired right up!
  17. Awesome thank you! Man they want all the money for these don't they!
  18. That is perfect! Exactly what I would want!
  19. Thank you! Yes the mounts were from a windshield which I still have somewhere.. the other one is my 1987 TRX 350D Foreman. That will be my second build. The foreman is all original down to the tires as well and in really good shape just like the 86 is. They were bought new by my dad and I recently bought them from him as they have been sitting unused for 8+ years. I also have a 1988 Fourtrax 300FW that is in another barn. As far as I know the steering light and the stone cages on the sub lights were on it when dad bought the machine in 1986. He actually bought the 86 to replace his 200M 3 wheeler and TRX 200 2wd fourwheeler after I was born in 85. My Dad's cousin still has the 200M 3 wheeler on the farm as well!
  20. That's what I'm afraid of I 100% don't want to drill the plastics. They are too nice.
  21. There are holes I guess the factory plastic mounting holes. I just did not know if the front rack would match up with those or not. Would it be the same as my 87 foreman 350?
  22. I am going back and forth on the front rack. This machine never had one and I love the look of it. However I like the utility of the front rack as well. Do you have to drill holes in the plastics to add the front rack? Also if you were looking for one where would you start?
  23. Thanks! It is in nice shape. The plastics are all original and in tact no cracks or issues even have the side covers still! It has been sitting right there for 8 years now. The engine still rolls over easily though so I don't anticipate any real issues. Just need some warmer weather here!
