It is coming to a time for us old school bikers , when more parts will have to be after market as OEM part supplies are drying up and no longer available
Now, now Fish... I still have the OEM one. I was just ready to get this thing running. On the OEM one, the drain screw was bad and leaking fuel from the bottom hose on the fuel bowl. It was so corroded up from not using non ethanol fuel and letting it sit and not ran in the off season. I have to say, the china starter has done good since my cam doesn't have the compression relief lobe.

Yeah trying not to spend $100 on one because this tiller has not ran in years. Has good spark and compression but not sure on the tiller side.

I'm interested in what you had to do with starting it while holding down the right brake? Is that an ES thing?

What kind of parts have yall found that worked best oem v/s aftermarket? on my 500 I have used a starter and carb from Amazon, All balls ball joints and wheel bearings. Most of the other parts were Honda. So far the starter and carb have been ok. The carb is a little rich out of the box but I'm not pulling it off again until it gives me a bigger problem. I try to stay OEM for everything I do but sometimes the price difference is a little much.

Used it to run and get firewood!

Since all events are canceled, my sons Boy Scout troop is have virtual meetings and what not.He and his brother setup up camp last night in the back yard. This morning he had to cook breakfast, Mountain man casserole. Just sausage, hash rounds, eggs, and cheese. We don't have a dutch oven so one of my wife's Pamper Chef deals it all went in and into the oven. Turned out real good. My mom has been teaching him to cook for a while. It is great to have a woman to cook for you, but you still need to know how to feed yourself!

But Fish got some hand sanitizer!!
I'm a sucker for tools. I have a 60 gallon 5hp compressor, 20 ton press, bench grinder, parts washer, 2 Cornwell tool boxes, a Cornwell 8 drawer cart... I could go on!! My problem is organization. . My shop is 40x21 and no matter how much I throw away, something takes its place.

AHHH yes, the ol' sky hook. I was sent out by our scout leaders with other young guys to bring back one of those, and also bring back a left handed smoke turner and about 50' of shore line.

Tires had plenty of air. At that time, my ABS light was on so the abs wasn't working correctly.

When I look up parts for my 500, I always see a 2 letter defination after it. What does these mean? I have never really understood them. The vin sticker on my frame is pretty much gone but the honda sticker on the right rear frame is partially still there.

I ran one for a while, then my boys took it over to make their own videos lol. I was coming home from picking up a motor on evening. My S10 has a useless rear suspension on it, previous owner took a main leaf spring out of it to lower the back. I added air shocks to it when I got it to pick the back end up. This was the first time with a load in the back and the truck didn't like it. I just went over the train tracks and started to speed back up and that car cut me off. Did my best to stay in my lane. Sorry about the language at the end.... I was pretty hot! fast forward to about 1:50, it happens at 2:05.

Never really got into watching Nascar. Been to a few races and even won a trip for me and my wife through General Motors. 4 day, 3 night all expenses paid. taken every where we had to go, got to watch a truck race and the Sunday race from GM's box stand. Somebody cooking the whole time, endless amount of beer on ice. I slept through both races pretty much lol.
