Merry Christmas from NC!! It was 16* at 7am this morning but no signs of being a white Christmas. 

Shot a doe a few weeks ago. My hunting buddy( middle son) and I have seen a few bucks but not in his comfortable shooting range.  Sometimes I like just watching the deer do their thing. Need to take about 2 more to carry us through the year.  It always gets tough from Thanksgiving out to take one here.

Our labor day was good but the crud has been running through our house. Got 2 boys home today because of fevers.

We have Verizon and have no problems in the house and a metal roof.  We have 3 lines, unlimited data, and a tablet with unlimited data. only paying on 1 phone and pay $230ish a month. I know there may be cheaper, but I stick with what I know works.

Wife has had one we bought a long time ago. Boys use it mostly. I have an Ipod but haven't used it in years since since using my phone for music.

Took about 2 months, but I finally got them!

Also pushed it out of the shop...... All the gas leaked out somewhere.... Still fighting to get the gas smell out of the shop.

24* this morning. 

Today we had a few seasons in NC. Started out with a high of low 70s. We left the house to go  grab a new scout shirt for my oldest and was met with 50-60 mph winds and sideways rain. Headed back home to wait for it to pass.  Noticed something fly by one of the 2nd story windows. Though one of the screens on the back porch flew out. Oh no, even better. We forgot to flip the trampoline over. Flew up and hit the top of the house! 1st time we have done that. We didn't expect the grade of wind. Headed back to town and the temps dropped about 20*. Now it's 34* with a chance of snow/flurries. Luckily the pool liner didn't get cut. Wife was worried about that. 

Other than factory Honda parts, is there a preferred aftermarket brand top end kit? Just looking on eBay, there is about $300 difference in Aftermarket and Honda. 

Is there any where the vin is stamped? I see you said the motor number, does it reflect the vin? The sticker that is on the frame is all but gone on my 500.

HL never answered back when I emailed them about the rings. I will probably just get a stock top end kit. We went riding the other day and my middle son told me it was hard to see me because it was smoking pretty bad. I guess I don't look back enough lol. 

1 good ride was myself and a few classmates in college. Met up and rode around lots of fields, beside the highways, even went buzzing behind the town court house down the street. Finally made it to an old sand hole and called for a truck and trailer to come get everyone.

2nd ride was local to me. There use to be an old dump and behind it was just a ton of old riding trails. We were just having a good time and decided to hit the road to make a straight shot to the house. We got diverted very quick when we saw a load of troopers where we had to go. Ended up being a wreck and they were attending to that so back in the woods we went. We had to take a short cut through a local rock quarry and we all made it back.

Both had very questionable moments. I was a lot younger and just wanted to have fun. Now I stick to the house. 

Mine has done this for a long time. Some times it will stall the motor out if I don't take off quick after putting it in gear.
