Nice pictures been 10 years since I was there. We stayed at a RV park in Custer. Really enjoyed our time there Custer SP wildlife loop was fun, the ride on needle highway was fun, we had lunch in Keystone, seen Rushmore & Crazy Horse. We went to Box Elder to become South Dakota Residents used Americas Mailbox as our address while we were full timers in our 5th Wheel traveling around working RV parks for over 5 years. We off the road now and staying in one place since 2018 gets boring sometimes but it's expensive on the road especially these days.

Garden not looking bad even though we are in a drought. The watering system I have setup sure makes it easy to water plants. In the pictures are turnip, rutabaga, cabbage, radish & onion.

Those pop out ground blinds work good. Keeps me out of the wind and light rain. I set a 20 lb propane bottle on top the platform on one by canal, have a Buddy heater hooked to bottle stays warm. The other blind I have a little buddy heater for it. I hunt the ladder stands when not windy and cold. Our deer herd is down from being overrun with bears and hogs. I only shoot bucks so it's tough hunting. Maybe I will get one this year.

That's bad, heard the causeway was shut down for a few hours due to dense fog. Surprised no wrecks on the Atchafalaya Basin bridge it's known for wrecks in dense fog, didn't hear anything about it being closed. The fog was heavy here at my place, good hunting conditions for squirrel hunters.

What happened?

My nephew rolled his dad's Artic Cat saturday in the ditch. I heard him crash he busted his lip all bruised-up and will need surgery on his right wrist. The bike did ok front bumper is bent and rear axel appears to be out of alignment could have been worse he got lucky.
