I meant to edit the post to clarify "bobcat bucket" as in, yes a skid loader attachable bucket. There was some equipment sitting in the woods for loggers and they had put in a culvert at one point and left it sit over the weekend. These jokers were NOT a few hundred yards out, more like 40 (if that) and by the sound of that gun it was at least a 30-30. Unnerving. Dumbest ! thing I'd seen in a good long while.

Thanks for sharing... stubby! Glad to hear you recovered. Worked with a guy who had done something similar with a chainsaw but instead of losing just the tip of his ring finger his hand got infected cause he was to tough to go to the Dr. Well he ended up losing half his hand, just has a thumb and a point finger to pick his nose with now.

You see what that Silverado in Canada was pulling? More impressive (?) Was how it was attached.. or should I say how in the world that pin could survive acceleration and braking. BUT at least a chain was used. Safety first!!

So does anyone in the house have either the Eotech EXPS3-2 or EXPS2-2? If so can someone provide a measurement? Looking for the distance between top of the rail to the top of battery compartment (see picture for better clarification!). I can't find any info of it anywhere!

Flip flops aside I see this all the time.. with just 1 2x4 though. Next time on the rez I'll have to get some pics. 🤣

We have several "hill billy" ranges here in the Black Hills where they dump all kinds of things to shoot up. The worst I'd seen was these guys shooting into a bobcat bucket.. and laughing at the ricochet sounds. I got out of dodge real quick and made a few calls to the forest ranger when I got cell service.

I wonder if he kept that hat as a reminder. The video had me uncomfortable from the moment I played it. Just mind numbingly.. stupid.

our 4th celebration is being held tomorrow night, of course it kicks of with the President and our Governor at Mt Rushmore. I have no ambition what so ever to go.. I was there today for their medical preparations and with all the people and traffic you wouldn't guess there is a pandemic going on. I got out of Dodge as quickly as I could I'm just going to enjoy the 4th the best way I can. Going camping (not at a campsite thank you very much), take the ATV's out and maybe to to the range and chew up some extra ammo. That could be our fireworks. Happy Independence Day

Great news! Not very often at all you see a recovery..

Here's the lock on ours. I've had enough stolen to know if someone wants something bad enough they will get it, I just hope to slow them down enough for the cameras, myself or the neighbors see and hear them. Of course I have an obvious lock on the door for a distraction and one tucked in under this cover. New camera system has motion detection so if someone even walks in my yard I get a notification.
