bcsman 1,345 Posted December 27, 2019 Just curious when others fuel systems start sputtering and need to switch to reserve? According to my fuel gauge I have around 1/3 of a tank, switch over then running well again. Where are your tank gauges reading when you have to switch? toodeep 1,733 Posted December 27, 2019 That sounds about right. You have roughly 3/4 gal reserve capacity.

F250 guy 106 Posted January 15, 2020 (edited) Unrelated, but I would clean the carb and put Non Ethanol fuel in, the Ethanol causes bad stuff to happen, corrosion sticking floats ext ect. Sonoco has Optima fuel Wich is what I'll be using after the carb rebuild next week. I'll have a much better storage life and performance. Personally I wish they'd put more Non Ethanol stations in Nationwide, so folks have a choice. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/cms/life-out-here/tool-shop/tool-tips/ethanol-and-its-effects-on-outdoor-power-equipment https://www.sunocoracefuels.com/fuel/optima Edited January 15, 2020 by F250 guy
