Rim?

Recommended Posts

Currently its flat has a tube in tire. Would like to put a new tubeless tire on y'all think the outer edge of rim is bent too much to hold air?

Looks to me like the rim is betn , I like to keep them tubeless if possible , I would hammer that rim back , sand and prime the sealing  lip and use some black bead glue with no tube , if it still leaks  after that , I would try Slime

I've been able to massage some bend beads back by taking channel locks and bending them a hair at a time, at least good enough to hold air.

My new tire came in nothing fancy it's a yard bike mostly. I was able to use a hammer, crescent wrench & channel locks to straighten rim. Had the tire mounted at local tire shop it's seems to be holding air, took it for a 2 mile ride rides better with the knobby tire..
