Swing Arm Bearing

Are you talking side to side play , which could be ok --------- or up and down or back and forth play , which would not be good

There should be no play. Either the bearings are bad, going bad, frame issues or the pivot bolt backed off.

From what I have seen ,  when you torque the swing arm pivot bolts to 4 foot pounds like they tell you to , even with new bearings ,  there is still some horizontal  play horizon

 What's the best way to check if bad? I just stood on foot pegs you can say got it moving up & down while wife put hand under the bearing location and she said a little movement.

This is the only video that comes up in checking the swing arm bearing , not a very good tutorial
