  1. Wheel you had talked about this in chat the other night, more details here in your thread.  So glad you or your family members were not seriously injured better the vehicles than you.  But that is a bummer as I know your vehicles are well taken care of, hope you are able to find good replacements.....

  2. Logan. remember you talking about this back when you bought this in the chat area.  You did say after getting it home that you did get it to fire and seems you have done a whole lot more since then.  I remember saying if it was a Honda and sunk it would be best to remove the engine and split it to see what it sucked in.  Maybe the Can-Am is designed differently and wouldn't allow anything to get in, hope you are lucky enough to not have had that happen.  on the surface it is in fantastic shape, good luck to you, keep us informed on your progress.....

Melatv, thanks so much for that!

I knew I saw it somewhere, but darn if I could remember where… lol

I also have yet to have one of the new style angle sensors go bad, they seem to be built a lot more durable / reliable construction

So @AKATV have you also tried and used the newer angle sensor on the 98-01 450ES models?  Think I have one going, gotta test it, but their price is alot cheaper.......

harbor freight is a throw away tool place..use it one time ( if yer lucky ? ), toss it..cuz its worthless after that. i've always been a craftsman tool guy..but we all know where they went too !. good thing i've still got craftsman tools from 25 yrs ago !.

I hear ya shade, I also have old Craftsman sockets and wrenches.  My hope is I never break one because if it gets replaced I can guarantee the new one will break much quicker.....

Man that chain ? Might need replacing, i can't tell from the pic how pitted with rust it is, and whether it can saved, that's a danger in it's self...... If it were me and i was keeping the saw, I'd replace that chain.

As rusty as that chain is I wonder if its actually going around the bar, bet there are a few areas its frozen....
