    That could be it!  Not positive though.  Its been a looooong time since those non-fitments were recorded.  I'm sure it could be made to work pretty easily.  Its a very basic conversion.

    Yep, good point on the wheel fitment.

    My local Rural King has switched manufacturers they get their winches from.  There was a pallet of Providence/X Force winches on discount so I picked up a 3500# for $79.  If it's junk in a few years, I am only out a little bit.  Has anyone made their own winch mounting plates or have any suggestions?  My last atv (Polaris 500) had a winch already mounted so I have never actually installed one.

     

    SuperATV... does the rear brake conversion kit just include the caliper and disc?  My fronts are not bad and I would convert them much later if needed but my rear needs some work.  The pedal is stiff and the spring at the pedal is shot.  All components on the rear end are pretty roughed up as well.  I want to replace as much as possible and your kit would be worth it to me if it came with everything from the pedal back.

     

    As winter comes on, (very slowly here as of right now) I will start I taking things apart, cleaning, painting and replacing.  

    The rear kit will include everything you need.  Here's a link to the instructions.  The first two pages show all the contents.

    Its a nice kit.  The front kit is hydraulic, so its really really nice and has instant stopping power.  The front and rear conversion combo is where its at.

    Is there any reason why I couldn't buy the cheaper 420 brake parts on ebay to upgrade my brakes to disc?  I know they are not the quality of oem or super atv, but they have to still be an improvement on anything that is drum.  Just spitballin'

    I have been a test pilot for SuperATV disc kits , I have 3 - 300s with modified 2wd disc kit , 3 - 4wd 300s with disc in the front  , 2 - 450s with disc in the front and rear and working on a 300 / 250 Fourtrax rear end with a disc conversion that I have not finished yet ------ All in all I have 11 Super ATV disc kits in the yard right now ----  and  I have had real good service from them 

    Sorry buddy.  I completely forgot about this forum.  I still frequent the "other" one, but this one slipped my mind.  I'll try to check in more often.

    Hey man!

    I already sent you this in a PM, but found this and figured I'd post here to for anyone else that may be looking.  Unfortunately, the portals just aren't going to work on your Ranger.  We don't have any kind of bolt on kit for it.  There's no way to mount it up, and I think they have different outer splines than the Pio axles, so they won't work with the gears in the box.  Now....I've seem some crazy dudes do some wild fab work and make them work....but you'd basically be starting from scratch to make the fit and work on there.  Sorry man.

    I'd love to see it!  I know a kid that fabbed up our 6" Outlander lift kit to work on his 450, on top of our 6" portals.  It was nuts!!

    Still on the list man!  We did about 700 products last year and we're shooting for 900 this year, so hopefully it makes it up the list.
