  1. Hey everyone, I'm looking to replace all the fuel, vent, and drain lines on my TRX 450 and was wondering if there is a place I can source a handful of feet of the hose. Mine are deteriorated pretty bad and some are crumbling. I'm not home to measure the hoses just yet and count how many I need. Much appreciated for any help .
  2. Thanks, y'all have already save me both time and money and it's only been a few days.
  3. Got it, appreciate the tip on using part numbers. I'll go ahead and give that a purchase.
  4. What are the go-to websites for parts? I know about Rocky Mountain, partzilla, and bikebandit. Are there any other ones to check out to cross prices. I found a thread that had some on there but I can't find it now.
  5. Thanks for the info. Looks like Rocky mountain only has covers at this time. So partzilla is the only option as of now.
  6. Thanks, I'll look to see if they have a seat as well.
  7. Scratch that, I see I can get a seat on partzilla for cheaper. I just saw this sight on another post so I have been looking.
  8. Hello, I am in need of a new seat for my 450 and was wondering if a seat I'm looking at on ebay would work or where I can find part numbers that could crossover. The seat is for a TRX 400 of the same model years. Seat link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/380987510344?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=4hWwQ1J6SCa&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=Nk8X_lQdSta&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY Or, if that's not an option, is there any luck to reupholstering the existing seats? On mine the vinyl deteriorated off and my dad painted the foam white to keep it from falling apart too.
  9. Got it, thanks. It was smoothed over by age and a little dirt.
  10. Thanks! Question, does anyone know where I can find the VIN on these bikes? I found the black model sticker on the front of the frame and the white sticker(half gone) under the seat. I'm not seeing any stamped numbers anywhere. Any help would be nice, I'm looking to get a new seat off eBay and want to make sure it will fit. 11. I am down south in Louisiana, Lake Ponchartrain area. It is fried, it was covered with a thick tarp last few years too. Maybe that just baked it, I don't know. Got your message and will reply.
  12. That's what I am seeing on here is a lot of 450s. Good one to have in that case! Hope I can offer any kind of advice in the future.
  13. Hello AKATV, I'm in the process of bring my '98 450sw back to life and the screen is pretty shot. Not sure if it's repairable or not, but I'd like to have it fixed if you're still in the business. Attached is a picture of the screen after I pulled it. I believe the backlight worked last time I used it but the screen was failed. The screen has since gotten worse. I can send a PM if you need me to.
  14. Hello Honda fans. I just wanted to introduce myself. I hail from SE Louisiana and have had a Honda ATV since I was a kid. Started off with a Honda 90 then moved up to a Honda 200(?). Then I shared my dad's four-trax in highschool, got another slightly newer four-trax. Those have since been sold. My current Honda my uncle gave me he grabbed in pieces at an auction and had it assembled. It is a 1998 Honda TRX 450sw that I have had a handful of years now. It was neglected for a while due to my wife and I refitting our sailboat and cruising. We sold the boat and got a house, so now I'm trying to bring the 450 back to life.
