@PROV you can still get them from dr trimmer .. but that's the only thing I'd purchase from them..lol!  the deal with the chainsaw disk is .... simple .. you want the sawdust / chips coming your direction ...never north! heres another model.. but far as i know the beaver is the only one the chain can be replaced on...THX! sure! send me the specifics on the blade you use! ...

figure it like this ... if your stihl engine is clock wise ... you blade is going to spin counter clock wise ...because of the lower gear box ...not like a curve shaft (cable drive) cutter.

Here's the blade and pic of the blade close up. Each tooth cutting edge alternates like a chainsaw blade. The back of the box list's the FS250 as one of the machines it fits. Was 20some bucks. Haven't had to sharpen it yet.

@PROVlooks good! i have a stihl fs250-R brush cutter ... been one  great machine, what type of brush disk do you use ? this is my favorite >> beaver blade (chainsaw disk) works great.

Looks nice. I heard they quit making that type because of kick-back. Can't remember what mine is called. Made by Stihl and can be sharpened like a chainsaw blade. Works great. If you zoom in on the pic you can see it. If you need the specific name let me know.

  3. Had this Stihl 021 for 30 years now. Still runs like new. Bought this Stihl FS191 brush cutter last year. Kicks butt on trees up to "4. Clear around the hunting shack and 700 yards of shooting lane 20+ feet wide. Started first pull this summer.

  4. A friend of mine has the EGO electric chainsaw. I used it for several hours at his hunting shack. Weighs about the same as my Stihl. 16" bar. Cut well. I will stick with my Stihl but that saw worked very well. Mostly handy I would think where you are clearing a trail or shooting lane when you are walking or wheeling and use it intermittently. Then you're not leaving it run or starting it constantly.

  5. I got a big pile of furnishings, kitchenware, tools etc. ready to move into my son's new hunting/trapping cabin he closes on Friday. I can't even get my boat out of the building. But hey, ruffed grouse (my favorite) and other small game seasons open here Saturday. My hunting shack is about 9 miles as the Pelosi .... I mean crow flies from his.

"The moment of unity (I personally thought) was good. The booing was unfortunate in that moment. I don't fully understand that."

"There was no flag involved. There was nothing involved with that besides two teams coming together to show unity"

Both of those are quotes from JJ Watt from the Texans and I think he nailed it.

Don't agree with any "sides" personally and think that during times like this we need to put as much as possible aside and just show some unity for what we do believe in.

As Americans we agree on fundamentally with everything said in the video and extreme elements on both sides take anything said and corrupt it.

With that being said, the commies out burning stuff "because of the system" need to take long walks off short piers.

I agree however I don't agree with not coming out for the national anthem.

just a question fish, or, anybody else, would charcoal act, as a dehumidifier, so ya wouldnt have to worry about something plugged in?

They make desiccant that you can put in there and when needed refresh in your oven. I also have one in my safe that you can take out and plug into an outlet to recharge it.

  8. My wife is having a garage sale Saturday and I'm finally getting rid of my PSE Laser compound bow that I bought new in 1978. It was the best around at the time. Should have antique value by now.🙄

That will make a nice rug !!!    What is the best way to eat bear , ground to sausage  or maybe stew ?

All of the above plus I've had bear steak cooked in butter and onions and it was great.

  10. We were at our hunting shack this weekend to put in culverts and mow 5 miles of trail. My buddy with the tractor had a wheel break off the mower and had to improvise. Good thing the loader also had a front mount brush hog that would eat up to 4" trees. Got lots of work out of my Rubicon hauling firewood, tools, power poles, crusher screen and culverts.

  12. We are going to the shack this weekend. Already been there several times. Gotta finish wood shed addition, mow 5 miles of trail and put in culverts to replace the ones the loggers took with them and left ditches across the trail. Our bow and grouse seasons open September 19th and rifle deer season November 7th.
