yeah, gonna paint it regardless, all the pastics will get a fresh coat of blue paint, so even if I come up with a red right side cover ?, it wont matter when I am done..lol.

1 minute ago, Wheeler said:LOL... well the trucks 383 finally got a new rear main seal under warranty... the ole 300... well considering I have to split the cases this winter to replace the one side, I figure she may get an upgrade!!! I'll start a build thread when this happens! lol
why do you need to split cases in order to replace an oil seal ?.

Just now, Fishfiles said:He has all lefts and no rights -------- that is crazy , wonder why the right ones so hard to find , is it because the right side breaks easier , because the way they are made ? ----- You know what he does have , at least 6 sets of Blue 300 plastics , one set is super clean ------
most right sides are missing cuz they do them just like the trx300's, folks get tired of taking them off, putting them on from kick starting the atv, sooo..they leave it off, next thing ya know, its lost !!..lol.

By the left foot peg is the neutral reverse and oil temp sensor wiring. I've seen them get damaged and ground out before which would cause the light to stay on constantly.
neutral, reverse, oil temp switches are on RIGHT side bro :-).

I had a wreck in '08 on a '83 ( I think it was ? ) vt750c shadow, cost me big time !. never even looked at another motorcycle for awhile. thought..cant be scared all my life ?, got back on one, 250 rebel, lol, traded up to a v65 magna, yeah..that was a tad over kill !..lol. settled on my '85 vt700c magna, love her to death !. i've had a few in my life, one was a '87 '' super '' magna..dang it...should never have sold it !..lol.

ignition switch wires look correct. if the oil light comes on, and stays on ?, it will not fire the spark plug. this can either be a bad oil temp sensor ?, or a bad alarm unit ?.

welcome mrb, you got that atv title in hand ?..lol.
