Well I just spent a little time with my 88 350d in the garage today.  It has been out of commission for a couple months.  It lost spark.  It ended up being the ignition coil.  I ended up getting an NGK replacement for it.  It had a cheap aftermarket pump on it when I bought it.  So today while getting it fired back up I noticed this one is on it's way out.  So I gonna go ahead and order the oem fuel pump for it.  My exhaust had holes in it as well.  I put Jb weld on it did ok but noticed today I have a good size exhaust leak so I'm gonna take it off and try to weld it this time around.  I have a spare cobra exhaust but it's a little too loud for my liking.   My plans are to get the floorboards installed and add a new front bumper with a winch plate.  I think I'm gonna install a 2500# winch on it.

put a 3/16 steel plate across the frame tubes right in front of the fan, long x wide enough to allow the winch. I put a warn pro vantage 2500-s ( rope ), roller fairlead. I doubt you will find any new bumpers that fit on it ?. no one makes a winch plate that fits on this model, you must have it custom made/cut.

How do you go about cleaning the cases?

once the motor is split, gutted, If they are really nasty with mud, grease, baked on red clay so to speak ( which most are ! ), I take a can of '' easy-off '' oven cleaner to them, best thing on the market that I have found that really works !. a little brushing here and there, rinse with water hose, presto, clean cases. but !!!!!!!!!!, it will turn the cases dark gray. soooooooo, I follow up with a buffing on my bench grinder that was a wire wheel on it, then I use a Dremel with a very small wire brush on it to get into the small places the large wire wheel can't reach. pretty simple. I will post a few pics later on today, so you can see how clean the cases turned out :-).

I don't have any spare side covers left, but I do have a ton of parts.  I was building a 350 for my wife, but today I found a cheap 300 and jumped on it.  Now I just want all the spare 350 stuff out of my garage.  I'll be spending the weekend stripping down a 87 and 86 to list parts on Ebay.  Let me know what you may want.

all I need right now is the right side cover, the atv is pretty much whole. if I need any parts other than the side cover ?, my bud has that covered big time !..lol. been working with him for about 25-26 yrs ?, he's got a gold mine out at his place for me..lol. does not cost me anything cept to work it off, or free !..lol.

I buy cheap general purpose tires. As long as they are a decent name brand, measure true to advertised height, clean out decent in shallow red clay mud and don't puncture easy I'll look at 'em. I ride in all sorts of terrain, some pretty steep and irregular, lots of woods riding where no trails exist, lots of sharp rocks in places and a bit of hard-pack clay/sand/gravel roads. I've tried a few cheap brands over he years, some I hated (Mudlites) some I liked (Dirt Devils). The Mudlites were garbage on my 450 Foreman, stock tires were just as good or better and lasted longer. Since my first experience with Dirt Devils was good those are what I've been shopping for most often. They're cheap!

my mudlite AT's seem to do great on my trx450fm, maybe cuz where I ride ?.

  6. you just haddddddddddd to start a tire thread huh ?..lol. I run mudlite AT's, 6-ply rating, I dont do mud ( least not 4 ft deep ! ), I ride on gravel, sand, dirt, snow, just normal rides, I love them for my style of riding. I wont complain on who runs what , to each their own, I just know what works for me :-).

I'd say it is worth what your asking , wait it out ------------  I think if you were to list it on facebook on the market place sites , you would get 100s of calls and or messages , but 85 out of 100 you wouldn't want , as they have a lot of chew'kees on there

feel free to link it there fish, but I wont budge ( much ) on my price !..lol.
