Fishfiles 20,147 Posted December 28, 2021 Hi Graham , glowing red exhaust could be over fueling from running rich , like too big a jet , but since your fuel injected it is not a jet , makes me wonder if that 420 has some kind of tuner on it ?? ----- Or the exhaust is plugged / stopped up
[email protected] 0 Posted December 28, 2021 Hiy there thanks fishfiles, Also tryed removing the exhaust back box, front pipe still glowing red, ones I had the pipe of and had it running it is like a fire the whole time through exhaust

[email protected] 0 Posted December 28, 2021 Fishfiles, I am unsure if it has a oxegen sensor delete, it doesn't have one in the exhaust if thats where it is suppose to be thanks

shadetree 5,977 Posted December 29, 2021 9 out of 10 times, a red hot exhaust tells me the engine is running lean ?, or the exhaust system is stopped up ?. chances for either are 50-50 shot.
[email protected] 0 Posted December 29, 2021 Thanks shadetree, I have removed the rear muffler and left the front pipe on, it's still glowing, could it possibly be the throttle body I have never done much with these thanks
