bigcountry78 25 Posted July 26 A while back, I picked up an extra set of 11” rims to have on hand since I was going back to the factory size. Well I was in a hurry and didn’t realize that one rim had three of the lug holes wallowed out. Can it be repaired or do I just have a Honda branded fire pit now? I thought about welding the holes back up partially and then re drilling them, but I’m not sure how I would get the right chamfer.
Fishfiles 19,750 Posted July 26 I wouldn't try repairing that rim , it came loose once already ----- I would upgrade to 12 inch rims , much better selection of tires to choose from in 12s ( but as you said your going back stock )
jeepwm69 7,232 Posted July 26 I agree I wouldn't try to repair. 11" wheels are common and most people get rid of them for 12" wheels. Location? Someone here might have one laying around.
bigcountry78 25 Posted July 26 I’m in Hickory NC. I’ve already got a full set, I just picked these up for $20 each for spares, mostly for the tires. I was just trying to see if I could save it or if I was out the $20.
