PROV 1,275 Posted May 12, 2020 Have a '15 Rubicon Deluxe. High beam light on handle bars not coming on lately. Switch to high and you can see front headlights blink but upper won't come on. Bulb appears okay. Kept in garage and never swamped. Where is the first place I should check? Switch? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

PROV 1,275 Posted June 12, 2020 Finally took it apart today. Pins on bulb rusted off to connector!! I don't know how the heck moisture could get in there. Had to us a drill and small bit to get the prongs out. Got a new bulb, applied dielectric grease, plugged in and put liquid electric tape where it would positively seal. Works fine now. Can't understand how it rusted. Never been swamped and in the garage when not being used. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
riverc 542 Posted June 12, 2020 Glad you figured it out....Will keep that in mind if I have that problem....I have my Led Light Bar tied into high beam wire thru a relay....This winter my led light would not turn on'it was the relay itself had moisture get in cleaned everything up and got it working again. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
