Nothing at blk/white wire.
What's black/gm wire
2 minutes ago, bfrevis said:That black/white wire is the same black/ white wire going into cdi through 2 pin connector.
Is that why i am missing my 12 volts for the cdi.???
Yes you have to have 12vdc on that BL/W wire
-
On the BL/W wire that you have taped up is there 12 vdc on it with key on?
-
Stator is ok with 0.6 ohms
On the run stop sw follow the BL/W wire along to a single connector -- unplug it and place a wire from that connector to the positive post of the battery -- turn key on to start

Okay 12 vdc -- check the pulse gen. coil for 300 - 360 ohms next
Is your ATV a Fourtrax or Forman?
The ATV should start without the stator

Have you done above as yet?
The stator ohms should only be around 1 ohm from y to y not 600 -- may sure the 3 yellow wire plug is unplugged from the rectifier when testing for ohms.

Unplug the CDI -- check for 12 VDC on BL/W with on the plug with key on
-
Is the neutral light on when trying to start -- is the battery fully charged ?
-
Hi: You have to unplug the BL/Y wire from the ign. coil -- unplug the CDI -- unplug the Fuel pump relay - unplug the fan control unit -- then check the BL/Y wire to ground.

Hi: What is the voltage on the Ign. coil when it's acting up?

HI Jeep: The PTO switch has to be off -- key sw on -- the schematic is not complete -- connector to engine harness & B & S engine harness need to be showing before figuring it out.

Hi: What I have used to solve the problem -- is cut a piece of 1/4 flat bar to fit and weld a nut to it. Hope this will help -- also square stock or tube steel will work if you can find the right size.

Hi: You can get a service manual at top of page --- go to section 13 - 34 and do the checks with a good meter -- sorry I can't stay with you with this -- I am very busy with things here

Hi: Is the small red wire on the solenoid terminal post with the large wire going to the positive post of the battery? If not put the red wire on the solenoid terminal that is going to the positive of the battery.
-
Hi: When you say jump the solenoid are you jumping across the 2 large terminals? --- if so move the small red wire to the other large terminal post.

Ok -- unplug the CDI and the test the BL/R wire on the connector you should read 50 - 200 Ohms to ground
