  1. Ditto!!! They were an awesome atv. I've had my eyes out for a clean kingquad 300 for a long time. Put those things in super low and they will pull anything. They are great on trails with the independent suspension. Suzuki could have sold that design for a few more years.
  2. Shipping is not getting any cheaper. I still think the post office is your best bet price wise for shipping.
  3. I just picked up a 028 Super today on the auction site. I have always wanted an 028. I will get some picks of my saws when I get this one gets delivered.
  4. I still have a good bit of wood to split and I'm thinking it is time to upgrade my splitter. I have the old mtd 6hp 22 ton splitter. It is a good splitter. It will split anything I put under it. It is just slow as heck.
  5. That's a bummer. Have you used the ICON tools yet?
  6. Ohio. Would have to figure out shipping. It's as big as the rear rack.
  7. You just re-use the existing holes for the skidplate. I never used it. I bought it awhile back and never got to put it on my machine.
  8. Well I sold the foreman 350. A family member moved down south and wanted something to ride around on. I need the space at the moment. I am still trying to get my garage in order. I wonder what old Honda is in my future?
  9. Up for sale is a rear rack, front bumper with winch plate, floor board assembly, and brand new unopened front decal. The rear rack is solid and straight. It has a few dings. Front bumper is solid and straight as well. Same with the floor board. The decal is brand new in an unopened package. These decals don't come up for sale often. Make me an offer. Thanks
  10. Their saws are definitely intriguing. I would like to grab a saw in the 50cc range. I've watched all the videos on them. The bad thing about buying used equipment now is you could be buying a Hutzl saw with Stihl covers and not even know it.
  11. Have you had any luck with the Hutzl parts?
  12. Well I woke up to an icy mix this morning. It's been raining off and on all day but that hasn't stopped me from messing with the Homelite Super 2. I picked the saw up off the auction site for $40 bucks. I put some fuel in it and it fired up and died after about 30 seconds. I thought to myself oh boy. I took out the plug and realized I flooded it, Once I unflooded the saw and tuned the carb to my fuel mixture it has ran perfect. I did end up snapping the pull rope. After replacing the rope I took it out back and put it through some paces. It's running pretty well and the oiler is doing it's part. I know a lot of people hate these saws but I think I like it. I think it will be a great saw to keep on the back of the sxs.
  13. I noticed the vibration right away but I can tell it's a good old saw.
  14. I just picked up a couple small saws to help out with the chores. I ended up with a Stihl 009L and a Homelite Super 2. The 009L is a little monster for a small saw.
  15. It's amazing what you can do with a mig welder. The biggest expense is buying the tank and fuel for it. What model welder are you getting?
  16. Well I noticed you guys were talking about welders and battery powered tool in another thread so I figured I would create a post on the subject. I have never had a great setup to work on my atv's and things until recently. I have slowly been trying to build up an arsenal of tools. I'm not a mechanic by any means. What a lot of you guys can do in an hour or two is gonna take me a day. I have purchased a few things from Harbor Freight in the past year. The quality of tools is night and day from what they used to be. I'm not doing this everyday so it makes no since for me to go out and spend crazy money on tools. I ended up getting a Vulcan Migmax 215 at a parking lot sale for a steal. I just used it to install some mesh on my 5x10 trailer gate. For what little welding I've gotten to do I'm hooked. I've been using a grinder for cutting and while they have their place I would like to get a saw designed for metal cutting. I'm leaning toward getting a metal band saw for cutting. I'm a sucker for older vintage things. So I don't mind buying old tools. So what are some of your favorite tools that you have around that you just can't live without in your shop?
  17. The 300ex and the 400ex are two of the greatest sport quads ever!!!
  18. So how long are you actually leaving them in the oven for? Do you put them straight on the rack?
  19. Jeep, I did purchase one but I will hit you up if it doesn't pan out. Thanks
