I again want to start off by saying thank you to all of you who not only spend time to answer questions but document your process/tips along the way.
Most of this bio was copied over from the other atv forum site for Honda that all the cool people left.

About me,
Mid30's guy from the south.
I've owned a few and rode many quads and bikes.
Started off on the utilities...
When I was young we got a 90's model 300 Fourtrax 2wd.
I believe to this day that this model quad and its 4x4 equivalent are THE toughest/most reliable ATV's ever made.
Then later on I had a few Blasters....
That gave me my first taste of motor repair as my blaster later needed basically the whole motor replaced after the piston just exploded 😆
Yamaha amirite
Next up was my 88 250x.
Amazing quad that took me any and everywhere for multiple years.
(Got to get into to this one for valves, but had a lot of help)
Then 300ex
Then Warrior
Traded up for a Banshee
Traded Banshee for a 400ex
Sold the 400ex
Had nothing for a while
I now have two 400ex's (00 and 04) and a parts bike.
