@Fishfiles ; while cleaning the moms, stuff out of the house, not to mention the kids/grandkids, ggrandkids stuff, i ran across a ticket to see URIAH HEEP... $5.oo at the convention center, downtown louisville. 1974. i dont remember going, though i know it was my ticket. was in some of my things, my mom saved. they didnt even rip off the stub. graduated in 73. we could take a buss downtown for 25 maybe 50 cents, the go to the theaters there.

ya could even smoke on the buss's.

the fist time i seen the movie TOMMY, The Who, it was a trip. i didnt take, nor smoke, anything funny. i never did figure out the scene, Ann Margret, dressed in white, sliding into a tub of pork-an-beans.  guess its better than dogs-an-beans. WOOF..

some of the siblings want to toss all the vinyl records, i'm not one that can. got some really old ones, maybe they are the 78's.  i know the record player was bout 3', if not more tall. made of wood.. i did find 2 Hank albums. the albums cover, holds bout 15 albums. is dark brown, RCA, an has the megaphone-cone, with the dog in front. some of you other guys, including gals, might remember this..

Concerts in New Orleans stood at $5 for a long time in the 70s , I had a shoe box full of ticket stubs , now days I see concert tickets go for as much as $150 ---- to tell the truth I had a lot more fun with cover band at the clubs , events , fairs  and the casinos than at concerts , The Top Cats is one of my favorite New Orleans cover bands  , they play for the crowd they are in , you can see them 5 times in 5 different locations and the music will be different every time , the tailor  to fit the event ---- I have been friends with these guys since their beginnings , the drummer Rob will see me in the crowd and say Don and Marilyn  are in the house and play something we like , every time we go see them it is a fun time

who can afford this,.. i wouldnt pay $150, to see anybody. promoters, stopped concerts. also stopped boxing in my mind. i got no clue, who boxes, nor plays music. i dont even know if any new music is coming out, nor boxers. there was a time. i was in race-horsing. i can see it fading away as well. over priced to get there.

cell phone addicts, who dont do the real world, young kids. some old kids in a way, happy playing computer games.

the only thing i can some/compare it too, is watching reruns of Gilligan's Island. least there wernt so many commercials..

no one i know ever goes to the car race tracks. i tried my 73 cuda in the ET's, at ohio valley drag strip track, on dixie highway. got the 1st heat, but let off on the 2nd heat, thought, i was going to fast. so it goes.

to be able to talk about anything, yet be wrong, takes a strong place. even to allow someone to be wrong, yet hear  an opinion, without judgement, nor ridicule, takes a strong forum,.. i would gladly like to be in a place, where i can say, what i think for the moment, yet be wrong. tomorrow, when i wake, i can say, " i cant believe i said this", or wish, " i might be able to delete what i said, out of context". no matter, my friends know i am full.. full of what?

Yep, i got scrambled brains. most do, without admitting it. i am what i am, i dont want anyone to be like me. go down your own road. thats the way of it. it wernt jimmy dean, was pat boone, that took Little Richards song. E made money, Pat Boone,..  the kids of that time, listened to the spicy version.,, unless the parents were around. parents can be so square, it that time period.
