i got a battery off a motherboard, that was newer. its not installed on anything, as yet. i got a newer motherboard, so my nephew, could game online.then dont ya know, he got a PC that year. i never had much call to use it, so i took it back out and used the old motherboard. windows xp, see's the sata drives, not the ROM drives. fairly much with the linux thumb drive, though 1 Rom drive is missing. i think i will put an older rw, drive in. DVD RW. i just want to make sure the adapter, i had to buy, for the newer dvdrw-rom is working. was from epray. got 2, only 1 worked. i know the power works, to the dvd drives. nothing else. i think the adapter gave out, and i just got power.

what ya told me about the battery in the motherboard, this time when i got into the BIOS, and paid more attention to the errors. it says the battery is weak. i had just cleared out the old errors. a couple or weeks ago, i should have been paying more attention, to the top of the screen, in error reporting.. it mentions CMOS.. hope i spelled it right.. Lots of sharp linux users here. i leave myself out of this statement with good reason.. breaking from windows, i got no regrets..

i hate to leave a sad tale, for the cooking channel. the frozen turkey, 17 pounds, was taken out of a freezer, and put in a fridge.. me brother.. i told him you got too leave it out, so it will have time to thaw.. guess who dont believe me. i told him i talked to both my sisters, an they said to leave it out.. E said they didn't tell him that, to just put it in the fridge, so he put the bird back in the fridge. he didnt want to check the facts,. soo, i will leave it as that. least i like the dark meat.. the thigh will be cooked. hope they got some ham, to compensate.. and, the weather here, will be in the 60's.. imagine that.. warmest christmas, ever.. media never lies though, nor do politicians.. its just the times..

i like the reference to bill gates, he stole his stuff from linux, so to speak, in the movie, or mac. same place., and formed Windows. it grates me that he wants protection, from that which he took. maybe i am wrong. that was in the days of Capt.Crunch whistle, free long distance. ya still had to have good pitch. ya might be able to make a call still, by a whistle, or record some number sounds. how to find the free ones is a different matter. doubt that is possible. might be. windows can KMA. though i might be new to linux, only 4 or 5 years, maybe more, still aint quite got all the hang of it. when xp changed to 7, i give up on windows. i like my linux. lubuntu. its free, so is the support.

i spent 2 winters at, Great Lakes Naval Center. it was a cold place. when i was riding horses in Ocala Florida, i spent two winters there. it was just as cold in a way. i had adapted to Florida temperature. 20F and below, was really freezing, and it was, also cold in the tack room where i stayed. when i left the boot camp. i was in my 2nd year, more schooling, a windchill of -70. when i got to California, it was 70f. that kinda translates into 140f degrees. no matter where you are at, these temperature swings, not to mention the crazy weather, ya just cant adapt to it.. Al Gore causes this. E farts, and it changes the weather, across the planet. what a cow.. this aint the KY hunting forum is it.? best move over there.

i cant, an wont, knock you for your choices. i will ask a question, is Libra office, harder to use than Windows office., or has less funtion. i had Apache office, i dont need any of them, so i got no reference, to rate any of them..

i start this, because i think its important. linux is a free operating system. actually it is many free operating systems. plus, unlike windows, it has free support. i cant say for Mac=Apple. i aint partial to much. but what i like, i keep, including friends. anyway, this is for linux users. get out of the box... freedom those that use linux, say so. i am not the only one. [on the side, if this needs some editing, or, removal, feel free] most still think as linux, is the same as unix, not to be understood.

@carlos problem; if carlos just stuck a pipe out, and the kid ran in to it is one thing. if he swung the pipe, is another. as far as the Dad, he aint much of one. i think the dad could have been shot legally, but got scared off, instead.. ya probable wont believe this, one my 2nd or so cousins thought it was a biography movie. told ya there are close family ties in KY. my thought is, ya got to go least 2 county's over, to find someone, that you are not related to.. 😀

Moody Blues. CCR., someday never comes, down on the bayou. got some more names, if ever it gets to me. least i got new songs to listen to, in my head, then the one that was, bothering me. the theme to, the lone ranger. well; there is no heat in the basement, it 19f outside. though it is 57F, i draft is blowing on me. i got me hunting stuff on, the electric radiator on, and i still get a chill. cold buds aint helping me stay warm neither. ;~}
