I would guess the drive is the type you see on early 1900s , a big wheel with a belt , usually it is on the right side , the one in the pic is on the left , could it be something to do with the pull start is on the right , so the engine is spinning opposite than a usual set up 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The second one had a rope start Reo direct drive with no brakes. Did have a kill switch. First one looked like this one.
