  1. Hi: When you had trouble starting in the woods did you touch the throttle when starting the bike -- if so it will not let you start the bike for 15 seconds or more -- PCM looks at the throttle -- protecting the bike from taking off when you try to start it.

    That $60 US or $60CAD?

These taxes are getting out of hand.  I've sent some stuff to Sam over the UK and if I sent it as a gift there weren't taxes charged....until suddenly they were.  Anything over 39 British pounds now gets taxed, even if it's a gift.

What I sent Sam I just arbitrarily put $50 as the value on it, not thinking it would even matter since it was clearly marked as a gift.  That put it under a dollar over that 39 pound mark (at the exchange rate the day I checked) and they were going to nail him with a big tax.

    Hi Jeep: That's $60 CND

As long as it's under 60 bucks you don't get charged at the border

HI: Good under $60 no tax is only when you received something from family or friends living in the USA .

Any goods over $20 you pay taxes

Some goods I have received from the USA on a FedEx truck -- FedEx paid the tax then FedEx billed me for the tax they paid at the border.

Mel , very nice, thanks for the pic -----  so what did you used , something like 2 " and 1 1'2 ?

I used 2.5" schedule 40 and 2" schedule 40 -- pipe was free at the time. -- but long as you can find a pipe to go inside a a pipe go for it.

  6. Hi: It would depend on what air pressure you run in your tires and the weight you have in the trailer - I run around 10 psi in each tire -- keeps trailer from bouncing around. -- the trailer tow bar is a pipe in side a pipe, so it will swivel -- had problem with the hitch lifting the rear of the bike when the trailer was going over large rock and stumps. -- pipe in the pipe made a big difference.

Do you have any automotive sound system places close? They probably have some of the fine strand wire for use on amps. I've used cheap jumper cables before just because I have zero options here and needed something the same day. Reading in the past going to the 6 awg will boost the 2500# winch to the 3500#. The larger size would work better in a longer run also.

Hi: Using # 6 cable will not boost a 2500 LB to a 3500 Lb winch -- # 6 cable with 12 volts applied to it will carry 200 amps up to a 10 ft length of cable.
