  1. Can do this -- on the 2000 unplug the speed sensor and see if the 2000 will shift
  2. Key was on when you did the last test and was the jumper making good contact with the Y/R wire in the relay connector?
  3. I told you wrong with the R/W wire -- that should have been place the jumper into the R/Y wire in the Engine Relay connector and other end of jumper on the positive of battery -- try it please
  4. If that didn't work remove the Engine Relay and place a jumper into the R/W wire of the Engine Relay connector and the other end of jumper on the Positive of the battery and try each ECM again.
  5. Hi: Be gone for a few days -- back home again -- WOW this is one to solve -- Try this remove the Engine Relay from the 2001 and replace it with the Engine Relay from the 2000 -- if it shifts If not change out the ECM leaving the 2000 Engine Relay in place and try again.

  12. Yes that's the 5P ECM connector not 16P ECM connected
  13. Key off -- 16p ECM connector (harness side) check for continuity Bl/O to neg. of battery = what? Key off -- 16p ECM connector (harness side) check continuity O to G/Bu wire = what?
  14. Retro -- good check for the White/Yellow (not W/Bu)
  15. Good -- connect the angle sensor backup and (key off) unplug the ECU and check for continuity for the shift Up & DN buttons -- on the Harness side for the ECU check for continuity on the Bl/R to the W/Bu wire when to push the Up button = what? --- then check for continuity on the Bl/R wire to the W/Bu wire when you push the DN button = what?
  16. Okay connect shift buttons backup again and unplug the angle sensor and check for 5VDC on the Bl/R wire harness side.
  17. Retro jump in here to help with this trouble shooting
  18. Good -- Unplug the connector for shift up & Dn buttons and check for 5VDC on the Bl/R wire --- everything else plug in

  20. HI: I am back home again --- Okay lets start with the Battery test -- place your meter leads on the battery and leave them on while doing the test -- take a reading then turn the head lights on for 30 seconds voltage will drop -- turn lights off voltage should ramp back up to what the meter read before turning lights on. what did you see.
  21. Okay Retro I will try to keep him busy --- now unplug the 5 pin connector of ECM and check the Green wire for continuity to ground
