You may have to adjust the valves

Hi: Problem could be the Ign. switch -- I found the Ign. switch had a high resistance of 600 ohms.

Hi: Have you checked the D1 & D2 switches for continuity?

Hi: Before you jump for parts -- what is the voltage on the Bl/R wire of the ign. coil when you turn the key on? ---- you also have a bad stop engine relay or a bad ign. switch. I have found and replaced two bad ign. switches so far on TRX420's

Hi: Big Welcome Here -- try this -- place a jumper wire from the Bl/R wire on the ign. coil ( leave the push on connector on the coil just shove the jumper wire in along side of the Bl/R wire ) -- touch the other end of the jumper wire on the positive of the battery . -- turn key on and try starting the bike ---- make sure the battery is fully charged.

Yes I hear you "FF" -- my friend has a Can-am which I do the maintenance for him -- one needs 4 hands to do some of the work on it -- good riding bike -- but a pain to work on.

Hi: A fellow here put one on his bike -- but took it off after finding the hard way -- hit something on the trail you grab the handle bar tight -- throttle is moved forward bike is out of control -- riding while standing up you can't control the throttle. -- so be careful

I seen this on a other site --
