In this part of the country in winter and spring we are pushing ice flows on large water ways on roads, trails and streams -- fan stays on without any problems -- never heard anyone cracking a engine case -- this goes on every year.

Do you have a Torque Wrench that reads Inch lbs. 7x 12 = 84 " lbs

Lot of saws will leak oil if stored in sheds that get vary hot inside -- it pays not to fill the oil to the top.

Hi Retro: I may have missed reading if you had Bossdaddy jumper the Shift Up & Dn buttons when everything was plug in --- I seen where it was tested with 12 VDC with ECM out. -

Yes fish 3 terminal Diode -- I was taking it that he was doing it right.

Hi: The test for the diode is good -- when you are checking the fuses are you checking each gray dot on the fuse with the black meter test lead on the neg. of battery?

Hi: Remove the cover off the fuse box --- use you meter or test light -- turn key on -- leave the fuses in place -- you will see a little gray dot on the top of the fuses test each dot for 12VDC.

Hi Retro: We didn't have Bossdaddy jumper the Key switch -- all 4 wires -- I had to replace Key switches on two TRX420's do to high resistance -- they are poorly built key switches. Haven't left anyone in the woods -- always got them home 🙂 -

Okay -- now we know that the speed sensor is not needed to shift. --- You are 73 and I am going on 78 -- I am not giving up on this bike --- Retro jump in here
