  1. Would running it in an ultrasonic cleaner hurt the priming passage, I wouldn't have think so. Haven't got one yet, but just asking.
  2. I'm going get this one here. Good support, I called and got someone right away, so that carb rebuild may have to wait. https://www.sharpertek.com/ultrasonic-cleaner-sh180-6l.html
  3. I'm still looking at cleaners, right now I'm narrowed down to sharpertek or ultrasonic LLC. Can't decide.
  4. Thanks for the link, just incase my kit doesn't have a drain screw o ring, what's the size and will any o ring work?
  5. Great tool. Say would ya know the part# for a factory adjusting tool for the pilot mix screw? As of now my method is, 1/4in socket, flat blade screw bit, and several burnt fingers. There's gotta be a better way.
  6. I'll get it from partzilla, never dealt with them are they just cheaper, or a good company?
  7. Alright I'm in business, and hey thanks for the cable #, that really helps me out. I'd say their all about the same price, I'll get a gallon of carb cleaner.
  8. I found what I think is the choke cable #. 17950-HC5-971
  9. Since I got ya here, what choke cables fit 2wd 300s, mine is kinked, and the ones online are for 4x4, I think they had longer cables am I right, if somebody had the part number I'd appreciate that very much.
  10. I'm wondering what size ultrasonic cleaners will work with a Honda 300 carb but that are cheap. Can you guys help me out? Honda 300 carb being the biggest thing I'd use one on, and the usual mower carbs.
  11. I was trying to help you cause I wasn't sure it was or wasn't, and I didn't want ya to ruin it.
  12. PO was a friend of ours in his 80s, that barley rode it, the back tires were wore cause he used it to go to the cemetery up the road from his house. He had a Polaris ranger that had the original dealer gas in it. I bought my wheeler from him. That should put your concerns to rest.
  13. I'll try to get up there this weekend and start on it.
  14. I do play mostly since I'm not up there all that much and yes we do work when my uncle asks me for help. IDK where he is. I went to Honda parts nation, and looked for just a valve, but it's in a kit that's almost 40.00, and part numbers for the starter enrichment valve only? Here's a photo of my spark plug now, I want to get it to run steady on choke if I can and not have it rev like crazy.
  15. SE valve, starter enrichment right? @Goober suggested I get a new one I'll look mine over but I'll probably get a new one . I have a question that I'm not finding an answer to. The original parts were designed for Non Ethanol and over the years (me included) put regular pump fuel in, my question is should I get a new diaphram and put it in so I know everything is set. Even though the rubber diaphram is sealed I don't think it would go bad from fuel, I just didn't know if the new fuels would damage it over the years. I don't play hard, but when I do I go it sounds like I'm revving it but I'm not. Mostly work and joy rides, sometimes make it to a park to really have fun. Reason why im rebuilding in the first place. When I first got it, when you choked it, it ran like it was way lean revving like a rocket, so I richened the idle mix and tweaked the air, I got it where I'm happy, but I wanna see if I can get it to run choke steady like my grandpa's 95 300. That and the needle valve kees leaking sealing leaking.
  16. Yea why wouldn't I, I just been busy and life gets in the way.
  17. Keep posting as your doing the top end, I never seen a sport ATV before.
  18. Yea I don't remember if that is an inerferance engine or non inerferance, so better to be safe and find out.
  19. Ok that's my extra bitty o ring lol. I seen in the picture. Dumbo is me ha ha
  20. Hope you didn't do any damages, or if your doing what I think you may be doing if so that's fine long as no damage happens. I thought you were prying on the flywheel and hitting the bolt dead center. That's a good way to get em off though long as one is careful.
  21. Two for the pilot and for the needle a washer with e clip and a small o ring with that. All in two separate tiny packages but for each location. I think I'll ignore that o ring and assemble like the manual says.
  22. I seen those, so just ignore the o ring with the needle clip parts then.
  23. Hey howcome on the kit there is an extra o ring for the slide needle that goes in the diaphram, but on the picture by the manual it doesn't show yo install on o ring on the metering needle. I'll re read the carb section to be sure but I don't think there should be an o ring.
  24. I thought I saw in the picture from the manual install o ring I may need my 300 power glasses checked. I see now after cleaning my dusty glasses. Lol lipped seal.
