Drove to the stand. Went and helped get a doe that was in an odd spot in a bean field.

When a seller puts very little description, I am always leary.

I don't own but 2.5 acres our house is on, but my inlaws have a nice amount. I have caught a guy with my tree stand in the back of his truck in broad daylight on a sunday morning. Called DNR but they said it was a civil problem, call County. Painted the purple on trees after that because she said signs can be torn down and won't hold up in court. Purple paint seals the deal. Have had a guy walking his dogs through the property when I was hunting several times . Several times when we were going fishing and he had his dogs swimming in my inaws pond. Inlaws said at first they didn't allow him to walk his dogs, but them said he wasn't susposed to be there during hunting season. He tried to blame me for his dogs getting in some soft coyotee traps during one of our confrontations. He stole the trap and I told him good, I will let the trap owner know and he can press charges. He kindly brought it to my house and was all appologetic. After years of dealing with that prick, he and his wife divorced and they sold their house a few months ago. Before that it was another guy just hunting where ever he wanted to because" he was told he could" My hands are tied to do anything because my inlaws won't press charges on anyone.

Corrosion inside. Leaking fuel out the bowl drain. Ran terrible. It has a dynojet kit in it.

@oh400ex Mine needs more than just a kit. Would need a bowl and I can't remember if the housing was corroded also or not. Ill have to check when I get home.

Where is the best place to buy 1 from? I'm done with this China carb I bought. It has ran rich from the get go. Leaked out the bowl drain.. Tried to go down a wash out to help retrieve a deer this morning and it stalled out every time. Or if someone has an oem carb that is in good work order let me know. I still have my old one, but the ethanol gas destroyed the bowl and bottom if the carb.

@Wheeler I had a set of the aluminum fast burns on a 350 I built in a camaro. I had replaced a stock set of vortecs. Had a nice increase of horsepower but not much in the torque side. Should be better with a 383.

Put a few buckets of shelled corn out about 530 this evening and look who shows up again.... This guy is killing me. Yet to show up with the sun up.

It just blows my mind how people will walk right by posted signs like they are invisible and not give a sh*t. I don't have a dog in the fight because I don't own any of it. There would be charges pressed everytime if I did. We can't put up a gate because a right of way road runs through the property. Last time a cable gate was put up those land owners accused my father in law of it. He didn't have anything to do with it. He has tried to buy that property but they won't sell because of a possible bypass coming by close to that. They logged it a few years back so the value is less now. Wish they all would sell to him.

Seems to be a trend. I've hunted my inlaws land since 2005. I would take a buddy of mine a time or 2 but I was always with him. Wife's brother invited a big group of his coworkers to his dads pond which is and always has been catch and release. They caught 8 or 10 catfish, gutted them and left the remains on the bank. B-I-L wasn't even there when they were fishing. Can't even take my buddies with me to hunt or fish now.

@retro we use to have 4 buck tags a year but they cut us back to 2 a year.. I definitely have noticed that the bucks are getting bigger.

@Wheeler, that seems like a good time right there. How long do you usually stay at camp?

Fish, I have not. I have a friend that lives in Oak Grove, West Carroll Parish. Honestly, I have had a lot of people ask me the same thing in different areas.

Got my 2nd buck and last of the season. He came walking through that fog following a doe in no big hurry. Shot him at 620am and at 200 yards and no blood. A friend and his wife hunting the field beside me helped look him. I waited till they got out at 9am so I would mess their hunt up. 205 lbs and some age on him. Kinda sad it is November and still wearing my snake boots. Now on to some doe control.

My Chinese carb is going down hill quick.

Took this 8 point this morning. He was about 30 minutes behind a doe but stopped long enough for me to take a shot. Honestly thought I missed him because 5 minutes after I shot, the buck on the camera slipped out from the same block of woods and by me. I never saw him because I was too busy texting the BBD to my wife and buddies. Phone went off and said I had a picture. Ouch... I sat there from 7am when I shot till 930 am when I had to get out doubting myself. 155lbs . My first shooter buck I had a chance on in a few years. I have passed on smaller bucks.

Back story... replaced the front diff and other steering components a while back along with a locker. I knew it might be tough to steer after reading every body's reviews on having one. It does, so be it. Today I was dumping some deer guts backing into a hole and locked it in 4wd and the steering freed up a lot just like it was in 2wd. Thing drives like it did before the locker in 2wd. Click it back into 2wd and steering is "all hands on deck" to turn it. Can the plugs on the front diff plug in wrong? I didn't have a chance to check it today. I bought the diff off a member on the old site and want to say it came off an 05 or 06 like mine. Everything looked the same also when I swapped it.

@Wheeler, it isn't as much as the deer as it is our English springer spaniel goes crazy. Not as bad right now because I don't head out till about 6am but when the time changes it will be 5am or earlier. I saw 2 does this morning on the way in and they wernt bothered.

I have an HMF pipe with a quiet core. Doesn't bother me normally but during dear season I wish I had a stock exhaust. I see a few companies that sell a silencer type setup that fits right in the factory muffler. I scrapped my stock stuff but it was gutted out when I bought my 500 so it wasn't doing any good. Anything out there that works with an aftermarket setup? I'm not against putting a stocker back on, but all the ones I find are gutted also.

This is what almost 90k pounds looks like with the left front tire off the ground. One of my drivers said some HID headlights got him and he thought he made the turn. We gave him ! and I still am haha.

Those are cheap. They would be over 3k here all day long. At those prices, look them over good. I always buy with the intent to resell. Not that I will, but don't want to get upside down. There is always a reason someone sells a vehicle, and it isn't the " I just never drive it anymore" reason.
