  1. One of my front loader drivers did this a long time ago. It stayed on till he got a new truck. If it got too clean we would have to spruce it up a little. Kids seemed to like it when they saw it at a stop light. He said he heard it even had a little fame on instagram.
  2. Worst job I ever had to do. 1999 Cadillac Northstar head gaskets and timesert head bolt threads. This car was clean as a pin and just had a misfire if it sat for more than a day without being started up. Hated myself for taking it on but really wanted to do one. Luckily I was able to use that lift at a farm I did the work for or I would of told the guy no on the job if I didn't have axcess to it. Everybody that walked by was always saying What the!!!

    Weather

We are supposed to be getting hammered later today. Really wish it would snow so the boys can have a white Christmas like I did in '89.

I have a ton of Dewalt cordless stuff and it makes working in the woods great. My Skill saw is probably my most valuable to have. If you plan on doing a lot of work on vehicles, get the Milwaukee stuff. I have a Makita 1/2 impact and it does better than my IR air gun. I bought it before the Milwaukee stuff hit the market.
  7. Welcome !! I also have a 500 and it was beat on pretty good before I got it. Never had a problem with 1st gear.
  8. @shadetree, if it was my money and purchase, I would go with a minimum the Foreman 500. Actually, I would be getting a sxs. Like I mentioned, the smaller size will work better where it will be used. I received and email back for a dealer about an hour and a half away this morning. I called and the one they showed online they didn't have. He said they go through them so quick it is just easier to keep the pics up. Asked him to put me on a call list if they get any in. Told my Mother in law and she said she will just wait till the summer to get him one.
  9. Well I have looked online at every local Honda dealership and only found 1 2021 Rancher 4x4 available. I just sent an email about it. No eps, and it is green. She was wanting red but this late in the game it might have to be green ! I sent emails to all of them in hopes they have one in the back not listed yet.
  10. If they buy something with a motor, it is new lol.
  11. So Friday evening, my MIL asked if I had found one yet... oops. Looking tonight on Honda, why do y'all suggest to stay away from a Rancher? I myself would go with the foreman 500 but he would be using this in a turkey house to drag and shavings and having to drive around post. I found the 2021 Rancher EPS 4x4. Has manual foot shift trans, and TraxLok 2WD/4WD. Pretty basic or one without the EPS. I did look up the Foreman and it is only about a $1k difference in price. I know she told me she wanted one about the same size as his old foreman and his is about the size of my 97 400 I have. It would probably never leave his property, no trail riding, no mudding.

It was a little chilly in Eastern NC the other day.
  14. Sweet! Let me know. I'd much rather get it from a member.
  15. $15k a year ??? Holy crap... I pay a little $400 at our club and we can't even get half the club to help clean up once a year or get the company that owns it to fix the roads.
  16. Any wheelie I did on my old RT180 was not intentional! The landing always hurt lol. I had a 80's model 110 3 wheeler that was fun. Havent even really tried on my Foreman. It has been broken too long to get a smile and then something else break!
  17. Speaking of the factory snorkel, how important is it to have? My 500 had an aftermarket snorkel on it and I took it off so pretty much open straight to the box. Never have any plans of riding in deep water.
  18. A buddy and I usually buy 3 25 bag pallets of cob corn and split 1. I usually have plenty left by the end of the season because I will throw some shelled corn out also. My main stand is surrounded by bean fields, acorns, and other food sources. That helps out a lot.

    Snakes

I usually check their heads...after I chop them off! My Father in law was scooping some sand a few years back and uncovered a nest of copperheads. We ended up killing 16 at our house that year and the sand pile is probably 400 yards from us. All of them had a green tail which ment they were younger. Wife has been pouring pinesol out around the house and have not seen one since. Works like snake away I guess.
  20. I need deer season to hurry up and end and reset for next year. 🤐
