  1. I found some pics online, and it looks like the front bumper was a Hondaline bumper. Still not sure about the rear rack. Also had a headlight lens guard on it which appears to be Hondaline, and one of the guys on the Hoarder page asked what I wanted for it when I asked if anyone could tell what year 125 I had. Anyone have a Hondaline catalog from 85ish? I think I've found a parts bike for $100. Thing is rough, but appears to be all there, and has a headlight grill which appear to bring pretty good money on ebay. Hoping I can pick it up, get what I want off of it, and get my money back selling a couple of things off of it.
  2. Dang wiring diagram looks like Greek to me. This thing worked well a couple of years ago. Picked it up in 2013. When I got it the carb and gas tank had stuff in it that looked like dried F26. Worst fuel system I've ever seen. Had to use muriatic acid and a pressure washer to get the tank clean, then sloshed some premix around in the tank and stored it dry. It's electric start so my sister can crank it easily on her own. Dang thing probably weighs 150 lbs too! wiring es3500.pdf
  3. Finally got some time to start cleaning up/organizing my shop. Shadetree got a glimpse of it a while back. Let’s just say it looked like Sanford and Son. Anyhow, I dug the control box out. @Retro think you can walk me through rewiring these outlets/circuit breakers? The mouse pee had pretty much eaten and corroded everything around the 110 outlet.
  4. Thought Fish would like this
  5. Haven’t messed with a 2wd before. How are they different than a 4wd shock?
  6. Looks good Fish! Where did you get that ball joint press? Looks like it perfectly fits the Honda ball joint
  7. No hurry Shade. This one will be for the kid who is now 5 months old, so will be awhile before she's riding it! Just trying to get it put up so it's not sitting out in the weather. Got the fenders and tank off this morning and put in the shop, and got the rest rolled up under a Jeep hard-top behind the shop to keep it out of the weather.
  8. pulled the fenders on the 125 before work this morning. Gas tank looks like it might have been Kreemed at some point. Anyone confirm this stuff is tank liner?
  9. Looks like something modern Fish. Jeep didn't start using that grill in the ads until about 10 years ago, so probably a Hobby Lobby sign. Just like Honda, the cool stuff is from the 80's! This is more from my era. Gone in 1986.
  10. So here's the 125 I have now as it was when my buddy got it. Guy wanted $100 for it, and my buddy wanted the racks and bumper for his kid's 125. Curious as to whether anyone knows if these were Hondaline, homemade, or something off of another model possibly?
  11. Pretty sure the 125 is an 85. Looks like the 85's had a different starter button than the later ones. How does the seat/rear fender come off of these? I haven't had a chance to really look at it yet, but want to see what all I'm going to have to do to pull the motor, and this is the first chain driven rig I've worked on. Looks like the rear fender and seat are made as one piece.
  12. Sooners were folks who snuck over and staked claims before they were supposed to when the land was divvyed up. Texas fans call them land thieves lol
  13. I see a tan 400 and a 300 next to it that you need to save! Also a 185S like the one I just got! Looks like a lot of trikes under the shed
  14. What’s your method to clean out brake lines? Dang things are pricey and the older bikes’ lines seem to be clogged as often as not

    Firearms

Marlin has gone downhill, along with Remington after Cerberus ran them into the ground. Love the older JM marked Marlins!
  16. Looks like the 185s is an 81, and the 125 is an 85-86, according to some of the Hoarders on bookface. They can tell the year by looking at the stickers, lol

    Firearms

Winchester peaked in the late 50’s. Their 22’s (52, 61, 62, 63, 69, 72) from that era are unmatched. Remington 5-teens are nice too. So are the 12 and 121 pumps Marlin 39A is the nicest lever RF, IMHO. Anything made in the mid- 20th century beats the rough plastic and cheap designs of today.
  18. Not only did you miss the deal, but then you had to fix it and see what a great deal it was!
  19. Yep Shade, it’s shaft drive. Supposedly Yamaha makes good stuff! It’s not like it’s a Polaris or something. Price was right (FREE)!
  20. The 98 I bought with no spark had that adapter thingy with a new CDI the guy had just had installed from Honda a month or two before I bought the bike. They replaced the CDI and it ran, but they didn’t catch the bad voltage regulator so it quickly fried the new CDI. I put a used regulator from PSN on there and a 350 Rancher CDI and it fired right up and ran like a top. The 350 CDI attaches directly to the factory plug without that funky looking harness. You’ll have the fan wires hanging off the CDI that aren’t used, but the 98-00 300’s will definitely take a 350 Rancher CDI
  21. Basfnb showed up with these on a trailer over the weekend. 125 I bought a couple of years ago and it’s been sitting in basfnb’s shop. Top end is off and I’m even sure if it’s all there. Was $50 though, so hopefully I can fix it up over time for new baby to ride when she’s older. Brakes look weird on this thing. They all like the rears are on the bigger bike (cable actuating a cam)? Any idea what year it is (couldn’t find the VIN)? 185S has already been here once. He didn’t want to put money in it. Ran but smoked like a freight train. Front tire needs a tube. No brakes at all. Wouldn’t start for me but plug is probably fouled out. Anyone tell what year it is from looking?
  22. Picked up this KLF80 Raptor from Basfnb’s brother, along with an old 185S Honda over the weekend. Turns over great, doesn’t even try to start though. Haven’t really had time to even look at it to figure out where the battery and airbox are. Could be a good one to keep around for the kids. Anyone have any experience with these things?

    Firearms

Almost all of mine were lost in a tragic boating accident. Very unfortunate. Before that I did a little smallbore shooting, and Dad did a lot of pistol shooting when he was in the Army. Did shoot down some mistletoe this weekend with the kids

    Music

That movie did a spectacular job of running through modern American history and perfectly matching it to music. Something I can watch over and over again, and of course, I have several copies of the soundtrack.
