  1. Ok I put the battery back in and checked the voltage. 12.65v battery in and not on 12.53v key on not running 14.65v at idle 14.30v revving engine 1/4ish throttle.
  2. I will take a look at it. So I have put 30 miles on it since I put the new angle sensor, shift motor and cleaned and greased every connection I could find. I was excited that ! thing was running and shifting great too.
  3. Soooo, its not shifting again. I haven't riden it in a few days and it has been cold. I let it idle for a little bit and drove see if that might give it a charge. Ima take that battery out later and bring it inside and also check the voltage.
  4. I love the amount of insight in this forum as a whole.
  5. I didn't even think about the pelican boxes, thanks
  6. @WonderMonkey while you are at it I would also recommended going through EVERY connection on your machine, I used QD Electronic Cleaner to clean them and then the dielectric grease.
  7. Holy notifications haha. So I am looking for something better than stock and enough to get me through the mud if I need. There is a variety if terrain up here. I do not go looking for mud but some places its hard to get around. These Sunf are $289 shipped and they have 1.5" lug. Also I probably won't ride a ton with my new job and kids, eventhough my 3 yr old loves going out with me.
  8. When I would turn left the wheeler would die. When I took the front plastics off I found one of the zip ties I used to bundle my winch wire together was to tight and it was pulling on the choke cable
  9. Has anybody heard of these or used them. They are Sunf a050.
  10. @Fishfiles no thats a combination of water from melting snow and where I was turning my Foreman back and forth figuring out the issue when it would die as I turned it.
  11. Yes it is haha, and the lights are bluetooth speakers
  12. What does everyone like to use for rear storage? I was thinking about buying a heavy duty storage tote like the Plano Sportsman tote.
  13. Figured I would add some better pictures.
  14. UPDATE So I took the front plastics off and found a zip tie a bit to tight which was pulling on the choke cable when I would turn. Took the tie off and no more stalling. I reconnected my winch to the battery and took it for a ride and it is shifting great. So I dpnt believe it was the winch just a coincidence. Thanks again everyone for the help.
  15. I know I'm getting off topic with tires but how do those ride?
  16. Yah ill have to read through it again. I want something more aggressive than stock for all terrain riding but can get in the mud if need be
  17. I have always heard good things about Rotella
  18. Yah now I can get some new tires for it
  19. @retro this is actually the first fourwheeler I have ever owned, so I currently do not have a favorite. For my cars I would use mobile. @_Wilson_™ thank you, I just write what I do. The ES was killing me and I don't know how many threads I have read on it. @bcsman yes, I did read that I need wet clutch compatible oil
  20. Good, I do want to change the oil soon too
  21. I am thinking it was a combination of all of the above along with me not swearing at it today and not throwing anything.
  22. Something seems wrong, I have a 2000 Foreman with 2100 miles and it starts right up even on the coldest days. You can intimidate an Outlander as long as you turn into them right off the line and keep pushing them into the woods.
  23. I'll check the cable, it used to do it alittle before it took the plastics off but now its worse. I prob ziptied something to tight.
  24. Oh I think I pinched a breather line because when I turn almost all the way left it will die. To cold in the garage to take it all back apart to look
  25. @retro I will try this tomorrow, i just got done driving around, put another 5 miles on it with my son in the fields. Shifted great the whole time even stopped and shut the machine off a handful of time to build snowmen. I will let you know what I get when I do it. @Fishfiles glad to help I think #1, #2, I feel #3 was a big help, #4 I will reconnect tomorrow and see how it goes, #5 I did do a light sand on the cable ends and greased them as well, #6 always @retro again, I was getting to the point were I was going to drop it off at the dealer.
