  2. I’m confused if everything is plugged in what light blue wire are we talking about. I checked light blue wire in 2p connector both harness and spade. Got red light on light blue spade but motor did not run.
  3. Unplugged carburetor heater and it did not shift. Jumper positive post to blue wire and fan motor ran before I hooked ground up. NOTE: the motor was frozen, I got it to break loose it turned freely and ran good. The guy I got it from has probably never ran it long enough for the fan to even come on there is no telling how long it has been since it even tried to run.
  4. In the rectifier test yellow to yellow had the same reading 0.05 and green to all yellow all had reading of OL
  5. On next test positive post to light green/red light was bright
  6. The red light comes on when just the ground jumper is touching the blue spade.
  7. On the second test the red light came on but motor did NOT run
  8. My meter don’t have 1000 setting. Lowest setting could get a reading was 20k. Light blue to green was 12.37. Black/brown to green with charger connected 13.83 no charger 12.55. Light was bright.
  9. I can’t keep them all, I’ve got a all original 1988 300 sitting beside it that I bought new, got to many. I’m headed to shop
  10. I’m at the hunting camp 2 hrs from home with a chainsaw clearing out a road, unexpectedly, I’ll be home later if this thing don’t kill me. Can’t wait to get started again.
  11. Thanks for the info. The 1995 is a Fourtrax 300, the cleanest one I seen in years, not restored looks mostly original.

  13. I understand totally, take your time, I've got plenty to do. Started to go into front brakes on the 2000. Need to put the 1995 up for sale before I start liking it to much.

  15. Still reading nothing on b/g. On black/green I’ve got 12.4 v and bright light.
  16. I get no dc volts from b/g to ground with handlebar switch disconnected and key on.
  17. R/b to b/g reads 5.27 I’ve got some help coming going to be a few minutes.
  18. I did what you said to do 4-5 times nothing happened when I tried to shift.
