I just did what you asked and it reads 0.00 ohms, in manual

You have the 5 pin alternator connector plug in and you took the reading at gray connector and you are reading 0.00 ohms

Unplug the 5 pin alternator connector and go and test the G/W & Bu/Y wire on the gray connector

At the 5 pin connector check the G/W & Bu/Y wire going down to the alternator

That is good 230.8 -- but when you plug the 5 pin connector back in and go the gray connector it reads 0.000

Yes that is correct. I will check again just to verify

It does read 0.00 ohms. But I do have little wires stuck inside the connector because the meter leads won't fit. You think that would affect the reading?

Sorry, I know that's ghetto. I didnt want to skin any more wires back lol. I do have the wires long enough and are sure they are bottomed out in the connector

There has to be a problem with the 5 pin connector side going to the Gray connector --- you should be reading 230 ohms --- I am out of here for the night

That's what I got to thinking once you were asking me. I'll try to clean the pins and see if I can get a better connection. If not I'll wire them in straight lol. I appreciate the help

I cleaned the connector and was able to get 230 ohms at the pcm connector and it still wouldn't start up. So, I went ahead and straight wired it together to see if it would change anything and still nothing. Needless to say, I'm aggravated as @%#$ now. I'm just about over it lol

Battery charged
Key on
Neutral on
Run switch in center
Fuel relay in
12 VDC on Bl/R wire of Ign. Coil
IAT plug in on the side of air filter box
Turning over fast
Should start

Here is some more you can test
Key off
Unplug the PCM
Meter on Ohms scale

Gray connector PCM
B numbers are position where you find wires

IAT sensor  (B2) G/O  & (B20) Gr/Bu  should read 2.2 – 2.7 Kohms
ECT sensor  (B2) G/O & (B27) Bl/Bu  should read 2.3 – 2.6 K ohms

3 green wires (B10 – B13 – B22)  Black meter lead on Neg. of Battery  all 3 green wires should read zero Ohms – check each green wire

You or someone you know can build a Peak Voltage Adapter -- parts from Radio Shack or other

Melatv, quick question. On the IAT wires, according to the wiring diagram the G/O wire turns into a P/BU that goes to the middle PCM connector. Is that correct?

Never mind, I found the wires you mentioned. The IAT reads 3.13 kilo ohms. I'm gonna check the others now
