  2. Trax are on backwards, might be cause of the fenders, but that would be fun.
  3. Went for a spin on the bike today, beaver dams have about a foot of ice now so I can go and get the trees from the middle, dry as a bone bark fallen off, gives amazing heat, from standing to the stove in under an hour.....
  4. My winch sits so low in the front I added a wheel off the front rack to get more lift out of mine.
  5. I usually used an old seatbelt out of an old van, but I didn't swap it out this year.
  6. Nope, and here's what the last one looked like when the cable broke..... I've pulled it through the rollers a few times.
  7. This is what I used, they were in town at a nut and bolt store so no link. Guys that do garage doors might have them also.
  8. It was the crimping kind but I just use a big hammer....!
  9. Broke my winch cable plowing snow the other day so I had to get a new compression end for the cable....cost me .63 cents......lol

    Yup, it was -22C here this morning (-6F) sun is shining here now -9C and little wind....

    Cold overnight here, woke up to -20C, nice and warm in the house with all the stoves going. Might have to fix my winch cable down in the basement today

    Woke up to a cold morning here, -12C (13F). Its apparently going to stay cold for a few days which is good, stuff should start to freeze up good enough to travel over without breaking through.

  16. When I was rebuilding the front end of my King Quad, I used the winch to almost stand the bike up so it was easier for me to work on.
  17. I just lift the nut with some zip tie cut offs laying on the shop floor. Lift nut tighten bolt remove zip ties...

    A dusting of snow yesterday temps are staying just around freezing. And it looks like its trying to snow again this morning

  21. I had to do this installing a satellite on a metal roof in the winter.... We used a big payloader to hold the ladder in place laying on the metal roof. OH&S approved back here....🤣🤣👍
