  1. gonna say you may as well pull the front cover, so you can get the adjuster bolt out of the cover to free it up, and while you have the front cover off, might be a good time to inspect/replace the friction disk and plates while your in there. and no..they are not suppose to shift hard like you are saying. i do not recall if there is a gasket on the cover ?, if not ?, use nothing but hondabond or yamabond !.
  2. did you see if rocky mountain atv has the wheel bearings ?. if not ?. i use boss bearings. if no one here has a spare centrifugal clutch one-way bearing ?, i may have a spare.

  13. counter clockwise decreases the clutch, clockwise increases the clutch. always start from full counter clockwise lightly seated, while holding jam nut, then go clockwise 1/4 turns at a time while holding jam nut. to know if you did it right ?, ( this only works with manual shifts ), after adjustment, crank it up, lift up with your foot on foot lever..HOLD IT THERE !..give it some throttle, IT SHOULD NOT MOVE AT ALL WHILE HOLDING LEVER UP !. if it does ?, then the adjustment is not correct.
  14. here's what mice damage looks like when they get color hungry on a wire harness !. they seem to like green and yellow for some reason ?!..lol. they completely chewed the starter solenoid into !.
  15. yes, but if shifting hard ?, then you need to back the clutch off counter clockwise. just loosen the jam nut, turn it counter clockwise until it starts to seat, then go back clockwise 1/4 turn, tighten down the jam nut. BE SURE TO HOLD THE JAM NUT ALL THE TIME IN PLACE WHEN DOING ANY OF THIS !.
