  1. update: got the crank in, maybe i can get this one together, and it be right ?..lol.
  2. update: well crap..the one-way bearing did not fix the noise i am hearing ?, soooo...this means i will pull the motor, rip it all back apart, and see what the heck is going on with it. this sucks...but it is what it is. I WILL NOT SEND IT DOWN TO HER KNOWING FULL WELL IT'S NOT RIGHT !.
  3. update: no crank weds ?, maybe today ?. will update if and when i get the crank. piston kit has not even got to little rock yet ?, no biggie..i've got the 450 to fix/finish.
  4. update: tracking number for the one-way bearing shows its out to be here today ?, i hope to get this project out of my hair soon ?. i also got to swap out the light switch for a new oem switch, it's also with the one-way bearing, i won't change that out until i get the atv back on the shop floor. i'll pray i do not need to do anything else to this ?..worse case...i'll have to pull the engine, go back through it to see wth is wrong ?..that will suck !..but i'll do what ever it takes to make this project right.
  5. you make the very same point i made above ^^^, something tells me he changed a part, that did not need changing maybe ?, or moved/touched/pulled apart something causing this mess.
  6. keep in mind, a no-spark issue can be a bad c.d.i. ? ( maybe they sold you the wrong year ? ). a bad reg/rec ?, bad stator ? ( stator must match flywheel ! ) bad kill switch ? ( not making good contact ? ), bad..lose ground ?..bad spark coil ?, you claim you had spark before you tore into it ?, but now you do not ?..this tells me..something got changed after you started tearing into it ?, or..you changed a part that was not bad ?..when i run across something like this, i go back to where i first changed something..put it back like it was..then trace from there.
  7. update: got the outer clutch for the centrifugal clutch today, looks like ( going by the tracking number from rmatv ) the one-way bearing and light switch shows to make it here tomorrow ?, will update this if and when it gets here.
  8. i skimmed through that post, and i'm here to inform you, you won't gain much by mod'ing any 200x engine, its a small class sport atv bike. as you said..if you wanted high hp ?, you would be better off going up to something like a trx700. but hey, its yer time and money..i wish ya the best !.

  10. just about everything on this list ^^^, is built into just about all honda engines. even if you '' mod '' a x motor ?, a stock atc350x will leave it in the dust, heck..even a atc250r will smoke a 200x ..lol.
  11. the fuel cut-off relay, how many times must i point this out ?..lol. if the relay is bad ?, the fuel pump wont work.
  12. no crank today...maybe tomorrow ?.
  13. fuel relay gets its power signal from the pick up coil. this is why the fuel pump only pumps when the engine is being cranked over.
  14. i have a trx200sx engine and frame, i wonder what its worth ?..hmmm.
  15. fuel pump wont cycle unless its cranking over. it has a fuel cut-off relay above the right rear wheel, inside the metal box, its black, with a red connector.
  16. go 4 it !..lol. if i had not stepped away for RL stuff ?.i would have been done weeks ago !..lol.
  17. update: outer clutch shows to be here weds ?..dangit..it'll get here b4 the one-way clutch bearing ?, AND I ORDERED THE OUTER CLUTCH PART 2 DAYS AFTER THE ONE-WAY BEARING PART ?..WTH !..LOL.
  18. update: tracking numbers shows my parts from rmatv not moving ?..they used usps..grrrr..last two orders , they used fedx..wth !..lol. i feel like i'm getting my parts from jeepwm69 ?..it'll take a month or two for them to get here !..rofl. on the other side of this stupid coin...outer clutch from partzilla shows to be here tomorrow ?..AND THIS IS FROM PARTZILLA !..GRRRR !!..LOL.
  19. just looked his yr . model up, wire harness for a 1998 trx400fw only fits the '97- '98 model going by partzilla anyway.
  20. CL's = craigs list. another place is market place, which is on fb= face book ( fake book is more like it ) i ditched fb few yrs ago.
  21. no..1st gear on the 500's..4th gear was a problem on the 420's.
  22. go semi on the carbide, less kick back, and you will need a diamond blade to sharpen it. if you go full chisel ?, it will have more kick back, but put out more chips..either way..you can not go wrong.
