  1. welcome to the forums. yep..an admin will have to change yer screen name. fishfiles flagged them for you ^^.
  2. i ordered oem kubota parts to rebuild this pump, it should work ?. oh yeah..i flushed the whole system..i removed every line that could come off, ran them through my parts washer, then blew them out with my air compressor .i drained the tractor again, i will pull the pick up filter again, check it. when i go to pick the parts up locally, i will grab another hydro oil filter while i am there. not too worried about a dirty system ?, i just did not replace all the oil seals when i had the chance the first go around ?..big mistake, minor set back..i'll fix it...lol.
  3. i do know for a fact, the rear axle threads that are on your atv are the very same threads that the flywheel is !. yrs ago, i discovered this. i screwed the axle in, then double nutted the outer axle end, used an air impact to screw the axle in, walla, flywheel popped off.
  4. 22mmx1.5mm fine thread, if my memory is still good ?..lol.
  5. here's a couple pics so far. top hole is for the plug, bottom shaft is where the seal goes. i got it split far enough apart to get the drive shaft off, then easly pried the oil seal out.
  6. well, it looks like i'll be tearing my kubota b2100 back apart, oil seals that are at the clutch/gear housing are leaking ?, only one way to fix this, split the tractor..AGAIN !!..LOL. ordered the oil seal and plug for it, along with a hydro oil pump rebuild kit. while i'm waiting on these parts to come in, i'll drain the hydro oil, get the tractor split, and ready for the oil seal and plug. i sure wish i would have replaced these when i had it apart the first/second time ?..sigh. oh well..it has to be done. i'll try to remember to snap some pics, so if anyone else ever has to go through this ?, they will at least know what is in store ?!?..lol. here is a pic of when i split it the first time, as you can see that shaft sticking out of the clutch area ?, that shaft has an oil seal that is leaking. and right above that shaft is a rubber plug ( no clue what the plug is for ? ), its leaking hydro oil as well. anyway..as you can see..this is a PITA to work on.
  7. by lifting it, i save my jacks, save my septic line, and can now lower my rear steps that go into the back door, and be able to open and close the rear door without it jamming up on the top of the steps. the steps fold up into the doorway when traveling. last but not least, it will level up better to my WDH on my truck, and the tension bars won't drag on the ground as much. so yeah..this will save me a ton of headche in the long run. yes..i'll lose mpg a tad ?, but its not enough to worry about, camper only weighs in about 3k empty i think it is ?.
  8. spent all day today pulling my camper axle out from under the camper, putting the springs back up, and mounting the axle under the springs, used a dexter axle conversion kit, now i won't worry about tearing anything else off from under the camper when i go back to the deer woods !. i already bent one of the stabilizer jacks !, got 4 new ones to replace the ones on it now, these new jacks are rated @ 10k each. did not mount them yet ?, just got done with the axle flip, i'm tired..lol. i think it turned out really well !. a before lift, and after lift pic.
  9. and the text was small too !..lol.
  10. oh..ok.my bad..then you are correct :-).
  11. clutch parts are under right side cover, not the left, left side is flywheel and stator :-).
  12. under RIGHT side cover, ( as i said above ) ^^..is the clutch parts. the neutral light works off the neutral switch, which is also under the RIGHT side cover, it makes contact with the reverse lever, once you shift from neutral to say..1st ?, the lever moves off the contact switch, this contact switch is always '' hot '' * 12vdc too the switch, when you move from neutral to 1st, you '' unground '' it so to speak, this turns the neutral light off on the dash. when you go back to neutral, it grounds the switch, which makes the neutral light on the dash come back on. these contact switch wear over the years, once the end wears down ?, they no longer make contact with the lever that rest inside the right hand side cover, which in this case, does not allow your neutral light to light up on the dash, and it keeps the electric starter from working. YOU MUST HAVE A NEUTRAL LIGHT ON THE DASH IN ORDER TO START THE ATV !. if you do not have a neutrla light ?, it will not ele start, and it will not let the c.d.i. fire the spark plug. this is a safety feature honda built into the atv's to keep you ( or small kids ) from starting it while in gear ?!.
  13. the clutch is NOT under the left side cover !!..the clutch parts are under the RIGHT side cover. only thing under the left side is the flywheel, stator.
  14. my guess woulda been an old putty knife at one time..lol.
  15. haha..pretty close ?..for all the new parts i put on it ?!...lol.
  16. ah..that is the pull start side...nm..crank seal is on that side...but if its not bad ?..it should not leak oil in there.
  17. if it's free ?, i'll go get it!..othewise...its not worth 5 bucks to me..it's been sunk...i'll bank on it !.
  18. nope...went red..and no..i'm not putting decals on it..lol.
  19. update: well...its as far as i can take this project, by my standards...IT'S DONE !!. i even got the right side mirror installed !.
  20. i wonder how long it will take for the plexiglass to heat up, and melt to where it will leak engine oil ?. engine oil gets pretty hot, so the real test will be if the plexiglass warps..then starts to leak engine oil ?. other than this , it looks good. but looks and function is two different things !..lol.
  21. update: got all the front end apart and back together, steer's great now, still have to put the inner splash guards back on, and the big front toe splash guards, and then i hope to be done !. rain here tomorrow, but i still can get this done, just can't test ride it.
  22. this gonna take you another yr or two to finish ?..rofl.
  23. haha...true. not much left to replace ??..i'm starting to think i've got a brand new atv now ?..hmmm..lol. i have little faith in the front wheel bearings ?, they came from my honda dealership awhile back, i found out they were china ?, i may have to see about ordering front wheel bearings from rmatv for oem ?..hmmm..i'll have to ponder that for a bit.
  24. welcome !. my first thought is the change clutch basket , the clutches are sticking, if this has sat for a good bit ?, chances are the friction disk and steel plates need some attention. this is where i'd start. before you remove the left side cover ?, do it now, and get a clutch cover gasket !. trust me..you will need it when you remove that right side cover.
