  1. Textron also owns ezgo golf carts. I think they’ve just rebadged the bad boy as an ezgo express 4x4 with a newer body. https://ezgo.txtsv.com/personal/express-4x4
  2. I think they were last owned and produced by textron (arctic cat).
  3. Another little note. As to the brass seat where the float valve seals off the flow, I take a q-tip swab and wrap it with very fine steel wool so that I have a steel wool Q-tip. I slide that into the seat area and spin it. Depending on how dirty, I may use one, two or three of those modified Q-tips.
  4. For some reason, that required two posts and a third to type something. Anyway, both of those are pretty good movies, what I call modern day westerns.
  5. 07 ram 1500. 5.7 hemi. 3.92 rear end. LSD. Tow package. I bought new in 07. I went past 200,000 miles a couple weeks ago. Took the camper to the park with it today.
  6. You just got to stay in the right gear...
  7. Finally finished everything I wanted - winch, shackle mount, tires, rear seat and rear foot pegs. My wife said the rear seat is very comfy - we rode a bit last night.
  8. Thanks. I kind of stole the general idea from my commander, which has a handy dandy winching point built into the frame below the winch.
  9. This could also be entitled, "What to do with those left over universal winch mounts and old lawnmower blades." I wanted something convenient to hook the winch cable back to if I were using a snatch block. So I took the mount plate that came with my new winch and one that came with either the winch on my old rancher or rhino to make the shackle mount. One I merely inverted and mounted under the kfi winch plate, bolting through the universal mount then through the kfi mount and into the bottom of the winch (used 8x1.25x30 bolts instead of the 8x1.25x25 that came with it to make up for the extra thickness of the universal plate). The other plate I cut and welded a reinforcement to and a bracket for the shackle (made from the centers of old mower blades). I then mounted it to the inverted universal plate where the fairlead would attach - the holes from the one I cut match up, so no drilling required - in fact no drilling required at all in this project. There was a "bonus" 1/2" shackle included with the badland zxr 3500 winch. This is on an 06 Foreman 500es. Pics below. . .
  10. Welcome. That's the mod on the commander forum - sharp guy. I took him to towertrax a couple years ago after he helped me install a lift on the commander. Do you ever ride there?
  11. I used the string method on my rhino I used to have and on my commander when I replaced the steering rack at the beginning of summer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9tYpHfXkJs
  12. I ended up mounting it above the a arms, just behind the right headlight on the side of the oil cooler shroud. This is similar to the location of the one on my commander. Years ago I put the one on my rancher in the box. It just made my storage box less useful.
  13. The one in the link is the one I got. It helps absorb those spine compressing jars from bumps etc. Among suspension seats, it was a cheaper one. https://seat-warehouse.com/product/gray-suspension-seathustlerexmarktorobobcatbuntondixie-chopperztr-hh-2/
  14. 06 Foreman So I bought a winch and a kfi mount plate. The KFI instructions suggest mounting the contactor on the right outside of the rear storage box. I mounted the one on my 350 rancher inside the storage box (never a problem in 16 years but it took up storage space so I’m not doing that again). Also I was thinking there might be some space somewhere around the gas tank. Where have yall mounted yours? BTW, I bought a harbor freight zxr 3500. It was only $120 with a coupon I found online. I’ve gone ahead and mounted the handle bar switch behind my cup holder and the remote receptacle in the front storage compartment. The mount was just delivered so I hope to install the rest in the morning.
  15. I bought a hustler fastrak 54" in 2013. It now has 900 hours on it. Yeah I mow a lot. . . Anyway, it's a pretty bumpy ride I guess. My back would hurt after mowing. So last year I put a suspension seat on it. Much better now. They also make spring steel caster forks for them, which they call flex forks. I've thought about getting those too but have put it off for 7 years - guess I can put it off another 7. Mine has a 23 hp Kawasaki engine. FS series.
  16. You can just copy and paste it in google preceded by the word translate. Or you can go to google translate. If you don't know the language, it will detect it. He's posting in French.
  17. I got the plastics on. And put a new seat cover on as the factory one was dry rotting. Plus general touch up. Probably will address the wheels and tires soon and add a winch and maybe a rear trunk/seat for the wife.
  18. Ok. Now that's as slick as owl !! Cool!!
  19. So I've put about 60 miles on it since I cleaned the fuel system/carb. So it has a little over 600 miles on it now. Runs perfect. This past weekend, I started stripping the old plastics off and depending on how much spare time I have, I may get it back together by the end of this weekend. Those new plastics sure are pretty - they should be for the price. This past weekend I also replaced the petcock for the reasons previously discussed. The impact got the petcock off without spinning the nuts in the plastic. Thanks for that piece of advice guys. I had to put a new fuel level sensor in too. After I got the original one freed up and working, it only lasted maybe a week. I think the contacts or circuit board piece was just too worn to work consistently after freeing it up.
  20. I could use the Forward/Neutral/Reverse shift lever for the '64 5.5hp above. I have the two broken halves of the lever connected together with a piece of conduit and hose clamps. It works but I prefer to have an unbroken lever. If you zoom in on the pic above you can kind of see one of the hose clamps.
  21. 1964 evinrude 5.5, which runs the boys little boat.
