  1. Canada model is what i was thinking too.... we ran into kind of the same with @freebo86 04 450es ... on the brake light harness.
  2. this build is out there.
  3. your welcome, yeah i saw that, pretty slick cushioned in the saddle, and on the bottom (thumbs up)
  4. are one of these wire connections the ones you peeled back ? (white taped))
  5. no problem glad to help, ... now i don't know if there would be any defrence from a 89, 99, I'm not an es guy, i was thinking like fish... looks like it was sealed up good, could be oem .. i need to check that colored scematic again.
  6. derf has a 99, Bcs has a 98, and Ted has a 00 ... you might check with them, i couldn't locate a pic.
  7. mine works just fine, and if i have to leave the bike ... leaves my hands free .... also having a shoulder scabbard .... the gun is not on rack to get smacked by limbs brush etc ... but i treat this one like i do all guns new and my old antique guns very carefully! besides my pistols .. this is my go to problem solver, but if i choose to hunt, i can usually step out on the pouch and pic one off, lol. no bait needed. bit of a topic change, so.... you might also heck these threads for gun carrry ideas https://atvhonda.com/topic/170-forum-hunters/ https://atvhonda.com/topic/174-firearms/
  8. i use this shoulder scabbard ... i hardly ever use the gun mount on the front, but the scabbard will fit, water proof, easy to pull the gun out while it's over my shoulder, or in the rack, as for my other long guns... i don't hardly ever take them out of the gun safe... not to happy with the vibration to the scopes having one mounted right in a gun case, or rack, with no padding but this way mine never sees any mud, water (except on the stock) i see yours is foam cushioned nice option, Tim.

    Weather

your welcome. yeah... that storm front shocked everyone, i hope winter is half over, but we've had some bad snow storms, freezing rain, even in late March, and early April.... i know one thing, if it keeps up like this, I'll have plenty of firewood for next winter, plus and minus.. lol. to this season.
  10. i agree! that x-27 is now my go to, i also have the longest handle fiskars chopping axe 23 inches i believe... ... which is super light, and just as sharp. i i use that fr smaller logs .. and the splitter... for hard knotty wood.
  11. oh, I'm sure if i went.... I'd head straight for that row, lol! sadly the local hobby lobby closed recently .... and china mart has nothing of intrest. and the model shop that had my 1/24 scale cat dozer went out over 15 years ago... some of the best ones ive seen have been on ebay.
  12. here it was k-mart , and roses.... that was about it for choices.... when you can't drive... lol..... i got in so much trouble wandering off to look for models when my mom would go shopping for groceries ... i reckon i had to be 9, or 10 ? ... i 1st started with those little match box / hot wheels etc cast cars, farm equiptment, some construction equiptment, then went from there to models ... snaps for Christmas, and birthdays, then went to scale 1/24 glue and testors paints, and glues.
  13. so you started wrenching / modding when you were very young, and never stopped, that sure explains alot, that sure sounds like one bad a-- machine.
  14. nicely detailed! i did a number of 1/24 scale models, never get into building model planes, back when i was doing them, the selection here in columbia was very limited, (just 1/24 scale cars trucks, and a few heavy equitpment models) i've been to hobby lobby a couple times, thinking i might actually ... try my hands at a helicopter, or maybe even a jet fighter plane..... what id really like to get into is remote controled plane... so we shall see.

    Weather

that's beautiful sunrise quadjunkie. yesterday we made it up to 70 plus degree with severe storms that moved in, ... 2.5 inche of rain here, with hail, and tornatic weather 30 miles north. had reports of trees uprooted ... power outages, no homes damages, vehicles dinged up, thankfull no one was hurt, i-road 65, and 40, 840 closed due to to flooding, one the worst severe storms for Febuary.... this area has ever had. temps dropped to 39, tthis morning back up to 56.
  16. i went with the x-27 longer handle for more momentum, i think jeep has the fiskars splitting maul ?
  17. for the fiskars ... a light axe, longer swing, and razor sharp narrow head, along with a very smooth finished head, I'll hand the chopper axe to fish, I've as, never used one.
  18. probobly so.... that sure one stretched out build. lol! lieve it to fish to find some really modded builds. lol! this has to be one of the best threads here.
  19. oh yeah... that's why i painted mine, ... one went flying off, I'd say about 50 foot... if wasn't for the red paint it's doubtful i would ever located it. back when i 1st started... my friend Gus (old truck driver) and i scored a load of elm on our land, i started splitting, with his only wedge, and got it good and stuck, (being i was a noob) ... his cure was to just toss the log in the furness, and get the wedge the next day... there's always more then one way to skin a cat, he gave me that wedge .. which i still have to this day, but i never use it.. i lost a good friend, when he passed away, he never had much, so did what we could, and, had him over for supper and holidays all the time. manys a day (he, and i) we just work on his semi..... that was many years ago, i reckon i had to be about 12, maybe 13, i was more intrested in the semi, then wood splitting firewood.
  20. I'd like to see pics of this monster when she's completed!
  21. yeah, i recall that post, so your father still hasn't turned you loose with the wood splitter ?..... i kind of got a laugh out of it, mines the sameway with some of his items..one guy who rents 170 acres (Dennis's) doctor told him, hand spilling was real good exercise.... and it sure looks like that was a good work out! I'd also like to mention, i got the idea for painting my wedges red from your post.
  22. your right! it's not mine. i saved a bunch of pics from the old forums, but my sledge hammer doesnt look like, that, my apologies ... for posting jeeps pic ... my wedges are red, but i used a mintcraft mual hammer. credit for the that pic goes to jeep. glad you posted about! if a man doesn't have honesty ... he doesn't have much.
  23. i hear you, some might recall, i had back issues from lifting some really heavy logs ... a few days i was on my knees ... caused by some of these downed trees due to an over night severes storm. hope you get better soon, slowin. sled... you won't be disappointed, just watch your fingers, i almost lost my right index finger, by mine, i got in too big of a hurry... lol, those axes are razor sharp!!!
  24. i always short cut the larger diameter trees, makes loading hand splitting easier, plus burns equally well, then having large chunks to load,NAND burn un evenly both of these loads i did with the fiskars x-27. be sure to post more pics of your setup ---- tools, saws, etc.
