  1. yup, kind of the .. the real stunt truck wasn't a k-20 but was a custom long bed k-10 with the engine mid mount with just a transmition and and one ton rear end, it was not a working 4wd truck (no transfer case) but did have the front end to look like one. i used to have a pic of the inside of the cab, the stunt driver was right beside the engine, lol!
  2. on the 1st video (3rd page) just after you start it.. there's another heavy knock along with the tick.... anyone else hear that ?
  3. hey fish, do you recall these two ? credit for the pics go too @Bounty Hunter and @Linda Surber classic chevy trucks, looks maybe a reading service bed on the white one ?
  4. i hear the little man with the hammer too, clear as a bell. in the last part of the forth video, (1st page) it does seem to get louder, at one point. could be movement of the camra... Edit: also in the second video (3rd page) at one point it's intermittent.
  5. looks good fish, i thought just about everything was toxic ... when it crossed into California ...
  6. it was mentioned a vacum leek, simple way to see... is short blast of starting fluid ...if the rpm shoots up, then drops a short time afterwards then it very could be, but be very carefull doing this test but the idol started acting crazy after the valve adjustment ? correct ?
  7. many reasons ..... those above ^^^^ plus less drivetrain wind up, (on pavement) you can use the brakes (front and rear) independently of each other, another big plus is it's completely mechanical. none of those push button electrical issues. IMO the best simple mod a man can do to a 4wd 300.
  8. hm.... should be girl boy, girl girl.....

  16. well, i was thinking the original recipe..... i can't advise on using sour cream , except I've never heard of it used in a cornbread mix. what did the original call for ?? we have two conversations going on, I'm going to back out, and keep up with fish, and slowin on the turkey cook, but if the recipe calls for milk, that's what I'd do, i make mine from a recipe i learned years ago, best i can offer, Ted. mines posted way back i this thread.
  17. i don't know Ted .... like i said i don't use flour, and never heard of sour cream used in the mix for cornbread ....give it a try as is... and let us know, sounds interesting.
  18. have you never tried the jalapeño cornbread i posted here, fish ? it's off the hook good! it would great with just any soups, or stews you cook up, one day.. I'm going to crash y'all's place just for the food, lol! I'll bring shade .. for the shrimp pickup.
  19. yeah, i agree those guards look sketchy.... that bumper .. um might be this one dressed up with mesh, looks kind of close.
  20. post the recipe .. I'm sure we can fine tune it, just like a honda atv, lol.
  21. we need that guy here in the forums, talk about some mad mechanical skills!
  22. standard for mine is 3/4 cup Martha white corn meal, 1 cup cup milk (purity red cap milk) (i use milk from toombs dairy) one egg 1 table spoon of sugar << (optional) ...whisk well ... pour into a oiled pre heated iron skillet. bake at 450 for around 20 minutes, but you can adjust the mixture, for a thin pan 1/2 cup mix, 1 cup of milk, i don't use flour ... never have ...
  23. here's another one, 1st one I've ever seen like this, looks like the cv boot / shaft gaurds are homemade, the one on the right is splintered at the top , fiber glass ??
