  3. I couldn't zoom in enough ether... @Goober might know you and can also check here hondarestoration
  4. Some could be... It's more of the top of the worst incidents involving drivers... Lol! Like best of the worst...
  5. What prov said ^^^^^ i say for law abiding people they should have right to ether semi OR full....because there is always a chance that there is going to be someone out for there take. but there are two reasons that are formost important to me.... If? Your law abiding (stated in the bible live by the law of the land) or ? your doing your best to, (minus a law stating guns ALL guns are illegal) and are not looking to harm anyone but rather protect your family your self and your property.... You have earned the trust and right to own and defend yourself....within reason... Another is if you think for one sec war is coming ? Do you really think those idiots are going to use any kinda sound judgement ?! Well !! No they wont..... And they can't all be stoped! from getting there hands any type of weapon they choose to.... Well .... Weapons (guns) will end up being the last thing we as a people will have be cercerned with ... They will be trying to get anything under the sun to bring us to our knees... Think about the big picture!!
  6. Practice rounds ? Those arnt practice rounds... Those are clips over the years..
  7. Welcome to the forums, is this the one ?
  8. Hey fish thought you'd like this... They may start out brawling on the small dirt tracks ect ect.... They never forget where they started..... Still keep those old brawling day habits even after they make it big.... Lol!...... I recall some jimmies antics .... He was hated there for a while... Some of those grudge matches never are forgotten... One of these days someone's going to clean Hubba bubbas clock.
  9. I like fords too especially those from the mid to 60-70 models .... Every once in a while someone would say they wouldn't have a ford>>> found on the road dead, or in the case of gmc >>> generic made chevy ...there was asaying for ether amc, or dodge...as well, anyways... A highered hand we employed had a 68 ford 4x4 fleet side ton >> camper special devorsed trans 4 speed she was all stock but still one bad animal... He never even thought about selling it... It was matalic flake dark mint greens cheme .... Beautiful truck...

That's about as close to mule day in maury county as it gets...... Lol!.....
  11. You know.... I think they messed up when they got away from the ol big long.A6 a/c compressor, johndeere used those for years... Then they also went with those little small ones..... I always liked the olds cutlass model.... My pops got one slightly used light matalic charcoal flake paint, but had a v-6 .... We had to replace the thermostat one Sunday .... There's no telling what all we took off just to be able to see it, ended up using a 3/8 drive with a universal on the end just to remove the bolts, right off hand ... I think he chose to lieve the thermostat out... But all in all took a couple hours just to remove the locked one... I won't touch one of those now.... It was a beautiful car... Had those famous cutlass painted wheels with the inserts ... But not worth keeping with that v-6 ..... I agree the 80's vehicles from GM .... We're lacking....fenders on those square body pickups... We're notorious for rusting out especially right over the rear tires...
  12. Oh...... I had forgotten about that beam incident till you just reminded me, now i recall.... Cringing when that happened... I think my thought besides cringing was how could they crush such a beautiful car... I'm not one for station wagons, but those classics look good to me! Must have been simple better times back then... Not like cars nowa days... You thump a dent in some of these thin skinned cars, but those were made to last! Eh what can you say ? A classic will always be a classic, i know guy that WAS refurbing one, fish you might recall twinky ? Guy that hunted (past tense) on this place, and payed by supplying firewood ? His father used to refurb a few classics, and one was a nomad, i only got to see a tad as he didnt let anyone see them till he was done, well, one day i was over to his place, and twinky invited me for a sneak preview... The color was a split mix pink, purple flake ..... That changed shades as your view angle changed.... Now when he had the driveshaft chrome plated he showed that off, but wouldn't let anyone see the car till completed.. I just saw the a!! End didnt even get to see the inside or engine room.
  13. Hm....... Without looking that up, I'm reminded of a project car that was on the citcom show Tool Time (Tim the tool man) Taylor's red wagon.... I believe that wagon was / is a chevy nomad ? No idea what years they were produced... Where's the original wilson when you need advise on history lol!

To my knowledge no they are not, but they do offer officail storm watches and warning updates ect ect from noaa, and also offer noaa actual in the field amateur spotters on scene information, so it's hand shake kind of deal. I wish i could answer the second part 100% But i can't ... It is a amateur radio operator that started the program... As for when it was officaily born as MTEARS ? Right now i couldn't say... We very well know how the goverment sticks there noses.. Where they have no buiness doing so.. So yeah ... I guess they could very well take over.. My guess would be amateur radio would scale it down .. Before closing it.... Some local 2 meter operators who own there own repeaters will not get involed with MTEARS ... Those repeater owners operate there own storm spotters network ... Consisting also a disaster program also.... MTEARS is a very larg inity... I don't know if they have a disaster program acciated with operations, if so i personal have never heard chat of such. It wouldn't surprise me if they do... If they do it would work good, but only for MTEARS members in there own particalure area.. Example ... Maury county fire only deals with fires MVA's med calls ect ect in maury county unless called for mutual aid from another neighboring county ..
  15. Too funny.... Hey ray.... You think this is funny ? I got word of another member who's going to be in cross hairs soon... You might want to pop into the chat room OH about 7ish this evening... Lol! Bring some popcorn and a cool drink ...it's going to 100 times better then most anything on tv .... Lol! There's only a few things worse then painting one yellow... And that's asking for advise about repairing a Polaris ... Haha! Chat room

Yeah..... I read tornado alley is slowly moving east.(which is natural movement) nothing to do with that BS global warming crap.. I'm not sure where it starts out west... I was thinking Norman Oklahoma ? But i could be very mistaken ... Anyways... It been said the trailing end is the first part of west tn then further in the alley is west middle and eastern Arkansas... I never researched how far south or north it extends , nor how long it takes that cycle of movement to complete the loop.... If those facts are correct then storms will indeed get worse.... This last bunch was bad enough... And as always they missed the number of confirmed ropes ON THE GROUND. It was NOT 31! It was in fact 60 plus. Thanks to MTEARS... I've been listening to them for over 40 years and not but a hand full of times have they missed being as close to accurate as possible . No other weather inity has come close... That's why i will become a member of MTEARS before said and done.. They are the big dogs, and should be respected and noticed by more people... Stuff the weather channel... You can't positively predict these without being there in person, i don't care what anyone says ... I know because I've done it and have the book..... It burns me up when i see these idiots speak as if they have a clue..... True to the saying anyone on tv is an expert... Ha! More like full of BS.

I don know the full scope of damage here yet... Most likely wont for an extended time... Like always... These storms that get this bad such an odd hour tend to catch people (some completely) off guard... Been going every sence 3 am yesterday morning... I can honestly say the last 24-48 hours has been almost un real... After my visit ... I stood at one of the nurses stations at Williamson medical... Getting paperwork finalized... And talking over what might be in store for the state weather wize... One of the nurses got my attention said she would never get used to the weather here in the southeast...i laughed.. Yes mam i hear that all the time... Lol, and your still here.. Lol! ... I have no clue what kind of impression i left them with...but I'll be looking for her next visit...lol! (Evil grin) 29 more days and counting....

Update..... 61 confirmed ropes on the ground accross tn.... Several counties completely black (without power) numous reports of trees downed ... No fatalities ... As of yet.... A few reports of people / family's traped in blown down house.. Some flooding... Some homes completely blown away... Numerous roofs gone... You could write a book from all the information that was stated... This situation is exactly what i thought would happen, but further back in the season... I just hope this isn't going to the trend for weather all spring and summer long... I will not be posting videos or pictures of homes and residents destroyed .... Report is! It's going to be a while before the true scope of this event is reviled.... Thoughts and prayers for all those touched by this event. My hats off to the rescue, medical, LE and spotters network for doing all they can, very very sad situation.....
  19. Too good! I'm not laughing at the change, but at the impending response Rolf!

I heard about that one a ham reported from Arkansas mentioned something about one located somewhere in the vicinity of highway 64.... Getting multipul radar indicated rotations popping up... Also humbolt county...might have one on the ground I'll name these off as best can, but there are quite a few radar indicated ones being listed Our time for exposure (they are saying) is from 10 PM CDT to 3:30 am CDT temp is 71o f dew point 59.5, wind SSE (202 degrees) from 5-12 mph pressure 29.23 inHg in Covington tn T.H.P. is closing roads due to downed trees (still gathering information) pressure has dropped from 29.32 to 29.13 ... While I've been working on this post. Y'all stay safe out there!
  22. Intresting! I'll be reading up on e-skip.... I used to could pickup the audio signal of 2,4,5, and 17 (i believe ?) around the 450 mhz range.... Then it changed to white noise (digital ?) now there is no sound the reciever just sqeltches out same as if a repeater closes, unless i loosen the sqlech setting.... Then it's just plain static... Unless the radio has an internal birdie...
