  1. Hey now...... I'm with fish... Those ain't just shoes, those are converse tennies! Wrong color but the right model! Well..... Now. That i think about it red is the flag ship color.....one of my favorite shoe brand.
  2. Hm..... That means i owe slammeded cash ?? Or a favor...... Sigh.
  3. Yes on the front cross member..... Your correct! I've never seen one with a riveted stamped vin plate. It should be just as you said.
  4. Oh that's laughable! pavement prowlers ? Haha! That's what we call those stupid looking wanna be diesel trucks...... Here in the states can't even burn REAL hardcore diesel fuel.... And I'll agree burning that watered down diesel MIGHT ?' be less of a poluter, but not by very (if any) much.... Everytime i smell French frys I'm reminded what a joke the EPA is..... Lol!
  5. Serious crew there ! NICE! That stacking took some mad fast skill ...... I tip my hat to those guys..... Lol! @sled_22 @bcsman @Turbo Twister are y'all seeing that ?! i don't know who all hear heats completely OR Partially with wood, but THAT there is how it's done n done right!, and fish just messed me up again..... Lol! The post is above the one he just posted....
  6. When i start back firewooding he's highered!!
  7. Tisk Tisk ....... The respect for Elmer's glue goes right out the window..... Lol!
  8. I've been toying with the idea to make an audio recording of the yotes i have hear.... I made a recording, n posted it..... Worked great, figures it would.. Because i haven't heard this large pack sing in a couple days... But with this cold front coming (they say) this weekend, i should hear them howling up a storm... So we shall see if things line up for a good hair raising recording.... I'm very curious as to how many are in this pack... My last audio recording makes it very hard to tell the number, but it sounds like a rather large clan ..... My guess would be in the upper teens to lower 20's (ball park figure) more to come later.

    Fish

Uh hu...... I really miss that ...... My Susan was the only one that really liked fishing.... Never got tired .... Didnt drink TOO much... I didn't mind stuffing panties with liver to bump for cats ..... Especially enjoyed her reaction when the big ones took the bait.... I'd swear.... It seemed like pre orgasim .... With her at times... Lol!.... That was fulfilled later on that night or morning ... Depending on what strange hours we would head out...... Fishing...
  10. No.... It's more of a booster heat.... To assist the main water heater, but it can be tweaked ...... Up hot enough to give one a good 2nd degree burn, that's with both the water and boiler running .. The key to this type is species of wood, plus whether its green midium , or dry.... Osage orange (bodark) aka hedge apple tree is by far the best I've used..... Greener the better... When i see that stainlesss stack start glowing. In sub temps ? She's right... Lol, hmmm. The EU sounds like the EPA over here.... But as useless as ! on a boar.... They're doing the same to people in cities... Who operate outside boilers for heat... No pollution ..... And hardey has complied as much as they can, and still make a good operating boiler, thing is .. ALL the new models are NOT 100% mechanical... Which is a mistake... And it's hurt the company, because with these new models they are plagued with electronic issues, n they get much wose as the machine ages.... That's why all the ooriginal mechanical models have headed skywards in price, mine is now doubled in price... But i have no Desire to sell.... You and i think. The same on that fact.... Wood smoke doesn't harm the environment in the least! The only t hing I've ever heard that might could happen is a certain danger from breathing smoke that originates when burning certain plants poison ivy, or oak....have been said to make one more susceptible to catching it.... I couldn't very well say it's true or not because I'm immune to them both.... Always have been, even after breathing in smoke from burning both of those species ..... But i do my best to clear all vines from wood destined for the furness. Thank you, i had to learn that ballast trick.... You live on a farm, that's a requirement .... Comes in real handy when hauling partial loads of grain... Most would just put the load in the center ( mistake ) i did mine over the drives, and over top of the trailor tandems..... So.... I just followed that belief when loading anything on a single axle trailor.. Where tongue weight might help or Hender the job.

Hi, Mecky, Welcome to ATVH. Be sure to check Chat
  12. Say it was Doubled layered extra thick ?! Too funny! yep shade you nailed it, the trick is sealed space behind a sealed bearing
  13. I don't really know... Rice is raised in a wet environment .... Besides being good for ya, and coming in deferent colors, n very usefull in drying out electronics ... That's about all i know about rice... Lol jeep might know.... But! I've seen rice fields in Arkansas..... And also close to the miss river.... But then again... That machine weighs in at (what did he say in the vid ?) 60 something thousand lbs (15 tons) or 60 tons (120.000) lbs.... I'm thinking 60 thousand... That's not too heavy for tilling ground especially with the load spread out over tracks and not just on the tires... With what all he said... I chalk it up to way over built.
  14. Puzzle solved! Thx fish! Besides the collapse of the Soviet Union ... (Maybe) effecting production.... Maintenance on it (i would think) would be over kill for such a small machine... Most likely priced so high...that also played a part in limited production... On the other hand if it was German built... I'd say much better built at a better price plus better quality ... Machine.
  15. I don't know what it is, but i like it.
  16. Toilet paper works too.... Just gotta make sure it's wet..... BUT NOT USED! Lol! Paper towels soap grease theres a bunch of defrent materials can be used ..... My friend Richard uses TP......said grease was to messy, and you never want anything (especaily petroleum products) on the contact surfaces of a dry clutch....

    Fish

You know dern well that her ATEMP at fishjng WASN'T the only reason that honey was posted.....She's fits this thread no matter if catches a fish or not.... Lol!
  18. Oh ! no, Wrong wrong wrong....
  19. Ya...... Good eye, that's the fire breathing dragon aka hardy.... Heats water for home heat, and domestic water use.... Yeah i kinda push the weight limits ..... But i balance the load over the trailor axle.... With just enough traikor tongue weight to have (close to) equal weight over all four bike wheels....i don't like putting too much weight on those open station rear 300 axles, although over certain areas I've had the back end just come up off the ground, not often but some, if i was going to add more front trailor weight, n the bike was JUST for doing firewood, I'd add fluid ballast to the rear tires, and not on the frame / racks of the bike.... That's a mistake i see people make all the time, with the understanding.... Some things have to be hauled like that, but if it cn be done without putting weight over the entire bike... It equals less ware n tear on the machine, the tires take it all. Boogity boogity ...... LETS GO RACING!!! Awk! Cheers 😎🏁❗
  20. Yup..... Done that myself ..... Works great for pushing out a flywheel pilot bearing.... Among others, that's a great old school problem solver.
  21. Oh i understand .... Problem i had was where the cattle were fed round bales...eve tho they're fed on soil that's over the top of bed rock... (Smart way) it still gets super slick.... So i kinda get what your talking about, I've had my wood splitter try and pass me... Along with trailer loads of wood... I've had my 97. 4wd loose traction in some sketchy places, n had to back or be dragged backwards... It's not easy to jack around a loaded trailor while being dragged backwards, whats even worse is being dragged back in that sloppy top soil ....I've not had a an accident yet, but i have many deferent ways back up to my home...
  22. I recon her bikes out in the parking lot.....
  23. Detriot re powered ..... I've been looking for the other which has the silver edition 8--v (twin turbos)
  24. That's one of the most redicious things I've ever heard ...... You can't get high from the smell of milk.... Lol! I don't. Care if it's pasteurized or not.... If that's the case.... I would have noticed it myself, because i get fresh milk when if i choose too, and it's never happened before.... My guess would be. There's a couple of idiots who know nothing about the subject at hand.... Sigh.....cow farts, a now we have to purchase milk on the streets ?! Haha! What a barrel full of morons ....... I think someone better be checking the local water suply ... Or a free clinic for the mentally il......there's only a few gases that acure in the dairy buiness one... I've delt with is gas forms when silage ferments .... You don't get high from that one... You die! The other is Methane, n it's a result of anaerobic decay.... Nether accociated with milk....
