Hey Tac glad you found us. There are quite a few of the 450's around here so help should be fairly easy to acquire.

Our turn for rain up here, since Tuesday night we have had 4" come down. Thankfully our ground was quite dry and there amazingly is very little standing water. Also there haven't been downpours but more like a steady slower rain, good soaker.

Pretty much the same comparison to foot shift vs. ES. Extra parts and wiring that can cause issues that many on here seem to have. I guess fuel injection and ES are looked at by many as improvements until they have problems.....

He would pay at least as much if taken to a dealer for repairs. It appears he wants it fixed so should be happy to get it back in running condition.....

@_Wilson_™ no it's just the rotation that happens. We've had dry times this summer and now we are in a wet time. But certainly nothing like happening in the Gulf area.....

Welcome Mad, yes we have quite a few early 450's around here including my 1998 450ES. There are quite a few parts still available to fix them up but getting harder to find. Let us know what you have going on, we should be able to help out...

Hi RK welcome the our forum. Alot of the members have utility Hondas, Foreman and such. There are sport Honda members so I'm sure you will come in contact with them. Your 400EX seems to be a popular model around here....

Sled you will prolly uncover some mice nests when you start pulling the wood from that pile. Better warn any women first, but could be fun not to....lol

Have started hauling and splitting firewood up from the woods, had some cut back there last spring. Then tossing it in my basement, won't be too long before a night burn....

The 10th serial number digit designates the year. This should cover your 450 I would think.... 1998-W 1999-X 2000-Y 2001-1 2002-2 2003-3 2004-4

Bigray, the serial number should be stamped on the front frame, I'm trying to find which number designates the year of your 450...

Hey Big, welcome to the forum. It would help to have more info on your Honda, like year and model. The early 450's were full time 4 WD while the later, I think 2002, on had a lockout switch installed. So year and model make a Big difference..... Ha AKATV beat me to it.....lol

Thanks for the updates fish glad your family was not injured. I know your one arm is not 100% from your heart test so as one old fart to another kinda old fart take it easy buddy....

Yea agree, I hear over 1 million without power down there. I know fish has a generator but fuel is gonna be hard to get so prolly it won't be run anymore than necessary.....I'm sure when he can @Fishfiles will let us know the situation down there.
